Emma and mom stopped for a photo op before leaving Emma's appointment. Emma had her mani/pedi and her Librela injection for her arthritis. She always feel so much better afterwards.

Librela is a monthly injectable medication for dogs that helps manage pain associated with osteoarthritis. It works by targeting nerve growth factor (NGF), a key player in the pain cycle of osteoarthritis. The active ingredient, bedinvetmab, is a monoclonal antibody that blocks NGF. Librela is administered by a veterinarian via subcutaneous injection, and it's typically given once a month.

If your dog suffers from arthritis pain, ask your vet if Librela is right for him/her.

This adorable little girl is only 10lbs old and she stole the hearts of everyone today when she had her first check up with Dr. Palomar. Lucky got a clean bill of health and is ready to be safe this summer starting with her first dose of flea, tick and heart worm prevention.

Ziggy & Zara were all smiles after their visit with Dr. Wilson & are all set for the summer months. Not only did they get their vaccines updated, but are covered for allergies and summer scares like storms or fireworks. I know they will be glad mom thought ahead. Be sure you do too. Kodi came to see Dr. Welch for some skin irritation & he couldn't be anymore cute if he tried. Now is the time to not only be aware of flea & tick season for itching pets, but allergies don't affect only humans. Our fur babies can have them too. Contact your vet today if you notice any signs of possible allergies. Kodi is glad his mom did!

Our vets here at Animal & Avian care for all kinds of fur babies. From cats and dogs, to bird, hamsters and guinea pigs.

And this little piggie went to the vet.. for a mani/pedi and strawberry treat. Nibbles enjoyed her little treat while getting her nails done by the techs. Did you know Guinea Pigs make all kinds of sounds. Wheeking, a loud whistle, is a sign of happiness, especially when they are excited or calling out. We heard lots of wheeking from Nibbles.
