My name is Ron and I'm offically open for booking! I have 7yrs of dog grooming experience in private and corporate settings, am passionate about furthering my education in my career and I care strongly about the safety of your pups.

What is Housecall Grooming?
I groom your pup in the comfort of their own home! It requires a sink or tub with detachable hose access as well as a room you are comfortable with me drying and grooming your pup in such as a kitchen, garage or spare room. I do have a small shop vac I will use to clean up and I will need an acess to an outlet during the appointment where my table is set up.

What kind of services do I have available?
Full-Service Bath
- Includes nails, ears, brush-out and bath.
Full-Service Groom
- Everything included in the bath plus a haircut of your style and choosing. Please note: Coat condition and dog behavior greatly effects what is possible and sometimes what you are looking for is not achievable in one grooming appointment.

What vaccines are required?
I only require your pup has an up to date rabies vaccination as required by Maine state law. I can take a rabies certificate, town registration, or receipt from the vet that clearly states an expiration date.

Do I have a weight limit?
Yes, as of right now I can only groom pups up to around 50lbs or less. This is mostly due to the limits of my current travel table and may change in the future and I will take some on as a case-by-case basis (always feel free to ask!)

Do I take dogs with health and behavior issues?
Yes! On a case-by-case basis. Please be open and honest with me about any conditions or behaviors your dog has. I can adjust my grooming better when I know your dog's physical and mental limits and not risk either of our safety to find it. For some pups they may only be able to get a "comfort groom".

What is a comfort groom?
Its not about looks! Its about getting your pup more comfortable than they were before. Maybe some spots will be unfinished or they cant get a bath because the dryer is too much. I will work around your pups needs. And if I truly think it is out of my scope of ability to keep them comfortable and safe I will let you know.

What is my pricing and availability?
Pricing varies depending on size, coat condition and haircut request. Sending photos of their current condition and what you are looking for are helpful in giving an accurate quote prior to your appointment and of course you can also provide written descriptions as well.
Availability changes frequently as I am services several areas and may only be able to go to one or two towns in a day. I do have a travel fee that is typically built into the price of your pup during your quote and varies depending on location. If you have multiple pups at the same address I am doing there is only one fee, it is not per pup in that case.

What areas do I service?
Bath, Brunswick, Topsham, Lisbon, Lewiston, Auburn, Phippsburg, Harpswell, West Bath, generally any town in the midcoast area so feel free to ask about towns not listed!

You can call or text me at 860-215-0344 or leave a voicemail if I am unavailable. You may also email me at [email protected] . Please note I often am unable to take calls between driving and actively grooming and focusing on the client in front of me, so text/email is your best first choice.
While my overall grooming hours/availability varies feel free to text/email anytime. I am limiting myself to respond between the hours of 8am-8pm so please dont expect a response outside of those hours.
