Some folks asked if my goats eat my pvc flaps that i use to control interior temps of my barn. Sure a few mess with them but ive not had one leave a dent in them . (Look at those cute little hooves)

They help but do not completely eliminate birds coming in and out of the barn, bugs and help maintain a cool or warm area by reducing temp loss while allowing goats in and out.

I have a heating unit that is off the ground and around only non flamable materials it also does not hang. Multiple fans and water plus an emergency h20 tote in the evebr a freeze gets my pipes.

Next year barn reno plans for before december of next year
I hope to next year put braces along ny pens and fill the stalls with sand and DE.

Ive debated the alley being gravel or doing at my great grandparents in mexico did in their houses and harden the earth flatten it to a nice floor to reduce dust.and to make it smooth moving feed with my wagons.

Adding heated galvanized auto water systems to each pen. 3 More kid / conditioning pens.

Doing some barn cleaning and renovations . My cameras rotate and send live alerts day and night to activity.(they also record and allow me to speak little upgrade we installed recently due to evwbts this year i have them all over the property) I have pens that go to different pastures each a few acres and pens i can close or open to give then more room.

Last month we had a bit of drama and im sharing here because frankly i need to be better at posting on here and also ..the audacity.

So we hired someone to help out he did not work a full day showed up late on the wrong property and and stole 300.00 worth of equipment then got violent and aggressive when we caught him he claimed he would tell people he wasnt paid soo he was more thannoffended when i took this picture of us telling him to take his pay and leave. Did i mention he also made secist comments about my mother ? Yeah..no

He continually refused and made threats so i called the cops. He tried to tell me i wasnt allowed to film on my own property, this is false. He tried going to the other property to steal as he finally left and the officers showed up and informed me he had warrants out for his arrest and was claiming we stole his equipment...to bad for him we have the records of our purchases throigh the companies and the serial numbers . He was driving a stolen vehicle not in his name, had active warrants and was high as a kite did i mention he was doing "charity" work around town for a charity that is not a 501c3 (always research) where he was likely stealing form them as well he was on meth.hes been picked up and is now serving im told 2 years. Locks were changed and a no trespassing filed and my cameras are still up for those little show folks that tried something cute ;p cameras are up and running my dears and i never have a problem calling the cops if i feel threatened by stalkers or thieves.

Love to spoil my goats with a cool or warm place to hang out depending on the weather we have swamp coolers and fans and these lovely pvc flaps for hot weather to make a cool spot including timed fans and fans that turn on at certain temps to remove hot air. Right now with the cool weather the barn heater is on and the pvc curtains are up i took some reccomendations on prolonging heat from friends up north so terra cotta was added to my heating unit now before anyone screams unsafe this is not a hanging heater or anything like that and animals have no access to it further its on concrete and theres no unwanted debris to burn and its monitored with cameras ;p i have barn cats and pallets for feed and hay to keep thm out of the dirt and barrels and such for feed. Did you know its best to keep your hay and feed off the ground to reduce risk of waste?
