John is feeling much better, happy to be getting back to work tomorrow. We have appreciated everybody’s patience. We should have everyone caught up in the next 7 to 10 days.
It was mostly a horrible trip. If we were to look on the bright side, our dog V did an excellent job staying in a nice hotel. She got to ride in the elevators and go out to a restaurant for the first time.
The staff at SSM health Fond du Lac Hospital provided excellent care and were a joy to be around.
PS John is the only person I have ever met that can crack jokes while having a catheter put in and taken out.

For some reason this week we had Mini Monday.
Their first mini shown was a pretty simple laminitis, heard he is doing well.
The second one is a genetic deformity much like a dwarf. This one was a little more difficult. Made a little wooden clog for him with frog support, applied it, he was more lame then when we started.
We immediately switch to a glue on poly flex urethane disc, he did quite well with that.
I am not going to say that it was difficult to apply, I have seen horses throw shoes, but this is the first time I saw John throw one. He never did find it, he had to make another one.

We just got back to work two days ago and had to take today off.
V has been vomiting, not eating and having bloody diarrhea since the move. Last night she was having a hard time supporting her own weight. We called her veterinarian Dr Penny Williams. She called Badgerland Vet Clinic to see if there was any openings, there wasn’t, she came in on her day off to treat V. Her blood work look good, she got fluids and meds. Dr. Penny is a blessing.

This is the horse we used the medical grade maggots on. A before and after taken a few months later. All the toe distortion was taken off after the shoe was nailed on.
I asked John if he thought it was a good idea to do the most physically demanding horse 1st after we have been off work for a month, he told me “ then the rest will be easy.”
We were discussing it this morning, we both still can’t believe that our landlord was intentionally cutting off our water and septic to drive us out so he could pack the house full of illegals. It will take months for our business to recover. The lawsuit should be interesting.

You know you were going through a stressful move when your husband is carrying a box, a gun and extra magazines. If you are client, you will probably want to read this. It turns out all of this with our water going out continually was done intentionally. Our landlord knows John is autistic so he repeatedly would start working in the evening to disturb John since he knows that he doesn’t talk to anyone at home after 4 PM. We only found out this information because the landlord‘s brother is a moron and doesn’t realize if you say something in the small town it gets around. This was all an attempt to drive us out. Matt figured he could put 6 to 8 illegals in our house and charge per person and triple or quadruple the money he was bringing in.
We will have everything out by tomorrow and back to work. We are sure we lost a few horses, understandably, don’t blame anyone. We will be caught up in a month and then we will need to pick up a few more horses. We could not conceive that anybody could be so greedy that they would do this to another person. Next week will be meeting with the sheriffs department to see if we can get him charged with terroristic threats, we have all the crazy text messages. so far, John has had his septic system condemned, we started the process yesterday with the inspector on getting the house condemned. The well didn’t pass the city water test, that is why we have been sick for the last six months. Of course, we will be suing him, John has one more legal surprise for him that we can’t discuss right now.

Good morning, I wanted to give you an update of our situation. We have movers planned for Thursday for the big stuff and will be doing a Uhaul for several days for all the rest. John ended up needing to go to the hospital, he is getting discharged today. it looks like things are on the upswing and we can get our schedule back to normal. We should be able to work by mid to late next week. Please contact us via text if your horses still need to be done to take care of all the priorities. If I don’t hear from you, will be checking in about the schedule for March and beyond.
Appreciate all of you. Have been very thankful for all the prayers and volunteering of help.

Our sincere apologies to any clients we are running behind on. We have been dealing with a nightmare at the house for the last three months. The person that “built” our house exposed our water and sewer line for no apparent reason and has refused to bury and insulate it from freezing. We have missed more multiple days of work with no water or sewer. The last time John confronted him about the matter, he served us a 28 day notice of eviction paper the next day. After speaking to the city that is apparently his MO.
We are getting a handle on it, but it will be necessary to move by March 1st.
On the bright side, if you have a rental property and some horses, it would probably be a good time to get a hold of us.
We have heard of these type of things before, but this is our first time dealing with someone that is so unscrupulous.
We will be looking for housing in our current area.

1st day John felt really good after being sick. Blew a brake line sliding into our 1st stop of the day. Luckily our client owns Autotrust mechanic shop in Appleton and Lisa had an extra vehicle for us to use to get home. Picked the right stop to break down.
We apologize to all our clients that we are a little behind. They should have it up and running after Christmas.
