UPDATE!! Teddy is no longer available! He has been placed into a foster to adopt home!!

Teddy is back with us due to no fault of him or his fosters!

If you’re looking for a calm, low-energy dog… Teddy is absolutely not your guy. This handsome golden boy is a full-time chaos coordinator and part-time professional zoomie athlete. Estimated to be around 8 months to 1 year old, Teddy is ALL puppy energy with absolutely no off switch right now.

Teddy is obsessed with balls, toys, and stuffing — if it squeaks, bounces, or can be carried around at full speed, he’s in love. He currently only knows “sit” and will need a home committed to training, structure, and consistency. He is a smart dog, but he’s still learning that the world is not one giant WWE match.

He would thrive with an active family and a fenced-in yard where he can safely run and burn off energy. Teddy is great with other dogs and loves to play, but he can be pushy and overwhelming at times due to his excitement level.

He is currently around 50lbs and about 10lbs underweight, so he still has some filling out to do. Underneath all the chaos is a happy, goofy, affectionate golden retriever who just needs someone willing to put in the time and energy to help him become the amazing dog he’s capable of being. ❤️

If you think you can keep up with Teddy, please reach out at 812-358-2141 option 4 for animal control!

This has to be one of my favorite updates/posts. Kia was adopted earlier this week, and she is THRIVING in her new home! Kia had been with us for almost a year with no interest. Stuck in a small pop-up crate because she couldn't be contained. Now Kia lives on a pig sanctuary with acres to call her own! She could not be happier! This photo actually brought tears to our eyes! Good Luck Kia!!
