Meet Sunshine!

Sunshine is a petite hound mix around 2 years old! Sunshine has a very sweet docile personality. Her tail never stops wagging! She keeps a very clean kennel and has not met a dog she did not like! She seems to have had several litters in her short life, but this sweet girl is spayed now and can enjoy life as a pet!

We are FULL... We have one open kennel which is going to be filled by a foster coming back today!

Here are our adoptable dogs! We have several to be vetted next week. We will make an updated post of everyone after that! We currently have 19 dogs in our facility! Three of which have pending meet and greets scheduled! Fingers crossed!

Does this guy look familiar to anyone? He is currently roaming around Circle Street here inside Brownstown city limits. The appropriate departments are aware he is roaming and are attempting to get him safely captured. He is very scared and very untrusting. A good Samaritan has a trap set and is trying to coax him in. With this being said- DO NOT feed him. He has to be hungry enough to take the risk and enter the trap. From what we have been told he is dog friendly but will not approach humans at all.

We are frequently asked what donations would be most helpful, right now we could use cleaners and doggy shampoo! We are down to our last 10 bottles of Odaban which goes FAST in a kennel! We have added some of our most used items onto our amazon Wishlist! Donations can also be dropped off at the shelter at any time! We have a covered front porch to set them under if the shelter is closed!

Our most used donations:
Odaban- any scent
Bleach
Dish soap
Doggy Shampoo
Paper Towels
Dog food- wet or dry
Dog treats and bones

We also accept:
Used dog toys
Used bath towels
Used blankets/comforters with no holes
Used dog beds
Collars, leashes and harnesses
Open bags of dog food or treats
Laundry soap/dryer sheets

We do not accept/do not have a use for:
Pillows
Sheets

Are you ready for a cuteness overload??

Meet Jim and Pam! Two bonded Chiweenie mixes around a year old!

Jim is a little on the shyer side, he follows Pam around everywhere. Pam carries Jims confidence in her back pocket. These two would benefit from a home where they can go together! Pam is bright and spunky. She loves to dance around. Jim can be found watching from a safe distance until he trusts you. Once Jim trusts you, you are his best friend. These two love curling up together on a soft bed. We are unsure if they are potty trained so this would need to be worked on in a home setting! Both of them are good with other dogs, Jim did growl at the larger dog during his dog test but Jim is quite a bit smaller and easily frightened!

These two are scheduled to be spayed and neutered tomorrow! We will start accepting applications on these two today! You can find our adoption application in the comments!
