Last Wednesday, we got absolutely hammered by the hailstorm! 🌨️

I was trying to get the horses to come into the barn, but as you’ll clearly see in the video… they weren’t interested! 🤦🏻‍♀️ It was so loud inside that it probably scared them even more.

If you look closely, you’ll notice all of the horses are facing east, toward the creek, during the storm. Horses instinctively know to turn their hind ends toward an approaching storm, and this one was moving in from the west.

Be patient and watch until the very end of the video. You’ll see something pretty amazing—a beautiful rainbow magically appears and ends right in the pasture with the horses. 🌈❤️

Sometimes nature reminds us that even after the roughest storms, there’s still something beautiful waiting on the other side.

Are you cooking for a crowd?

Graduation Open House, Memorial Day Party, Rehearsal Dinner, Sunday Supper, a Funeral Dinner.....

How about serving Shredded Grass Fed Beef?

Whenever we have a party or event here at the Farm we like to serve Shredded Beef.

To make it easier, Jenny likes to cook a bunch of Chuck Roasts ahead of time and then shred it and freeze it. Making sure to include lots of the broth in the freezer bag.

When it's time for the party, just pull the Beef out of the freezer and reheat.

~CHUCK ROAST RECIPE~

Just throw the Chuck Roast in a Crock-Pot with some beef broth, a splash of dry red wine if you have some, and lots of seasonings like salt, pepper, garlic, chipotle powder, seasoned salt, thyme and rosemary.

Cook on low all day and come home to fall apart tender Roast Beef.
