🔔🔔 Exciting news! GEC has space for new horses in our training program. From putting competition miles on an eventer/jumper/dressage horse, legging up a fox hunter, or building a foundation of training with an OTTB, Emily and McKenzie have you covered.

✅✅ Emily and McKenzie are both active USEA and FEI competitors. Lessons from either professional are also available to add to your training package.

📅📅 Weekly and Monthly rates and option to compete your horse at local or travel shows.

After our Jump Around yesterday, we celebrated Larkyn and Castle’s “Last Hurrah” before she leaves for Georgia Tech this weekend! We have thoroughly enjoyed helping this pair grow in our program. And we also look forward to seeing Larkyn’s sister, Alysha, ride Castle this fall! Here’s to the next chapter 🥂🎉

Big smiles from the girls in our Intro to Eventing Academy! Students had four days of learning the basics of eventing including learning their dressage tests (on foot and on ponies!), show jumping courses, and going cross-country. On the fifth day they finished off the week with a combined test at Erin Pullen’s Go Big Eventing Show!

Wonderful “cool” weekend at Hoosier Horse Trials. We had a great time and everyone learned something for their next outing plus everyone ribboned!
Stadium jumping proved to be a tough phase for most, but of all six of our rides we only had one pole! I’ll attribute that success for our trips to WEC over the summer to help sharpen our skills!

I have a pet peeve…It is when riders go too fast on cross country and make circles before the last jump to “delay” their time! Ugh! So i instituted a “NEW RULE”. If you circle on course you have to RUN a mile! Thus, the GEC Running Club was born. In amazing barn fashion, everyone joined in to support the offenders!!! 😍

Thanks to all the volunteers and organizers for a fun weekend of sport.

We said “see you later” to Ellie Cunningham’s Winston who has been lease by GEC student, Sloan Pearson, for the past two years! Riding Winston was a great experience for Sloan and he was the sweetest boy to have in the barn. We wish him and Ellie the best in their next venture!

This weekend several riders braved the heat to compete in and practic their show jumping at the picturesque WEC Ohio, with the objective of refining their equestrian skills.

We had a great time and learned how to ride our horses more effectively….which is the ultimate goal!

I have to admit, comimg from Eventerland where getting ribbons is more challenging - I think we enjoyed getting rewarded for each effort…

🌟McKenzie and Tanimo were Champions in both the 1.10m and 1.20 m divisions!
🌟Larkyn and Castle rode better each round but posted 3 double clears to take the Reserve Champion in the 1.0m Junior/Amateur Division
🌟Alysha and Diego ribboned in every class and were 2nd, 4th and 6th in the 1.0m Junior/Amateur Division.
