**For Immediate Release — April 9, 2025**
After a heartfelt and thorough discussion during our recent board meeting, we regret to announce the closing of PeacefulPaws Rescue Inc. Due to the relocation of our primary family, we have reached the difficult decision that we can no longer operate as we have.
We understand this news may come as a shock, and we sincerely apologize for any distress it may cause. Our mission when founding PeacefulPaws Rescue was to serve as a lasting resource for our beloved community. We cherish every connection we've made along this journey, and the support from our community has meant the world to us.
While we may explore the possibility of reopening in the future, our immediate focus is on the incredible dogs we have been privileged to care for, including:
Blueberry, Thor, Hercules, Gamora, Guava, Lucky, Sara, Mary, Lady, Dawn, Lucy, El Chopo, Bobo, Marley, Doobie, Gwen, Marshmellow, Remi, Mama, Raven, Teddy, Anthony, Eloise, Benedict, Colin, Daphene, Luna, Frank, Hunter, Winston, Snickerdoodle, Muffin, Charlie, Red, Gypsy, Pepper, Beans, Ladybug, Dimple, Dexter, Hermonie, and Hope.
And while there are many more, words cannot fully express the emotions we feel. Our love for this community and all the friendships we've formed will remain in our hearts. Thank you for being a part of our journey. We hope to cross paths again in the future. 🩷
