Yesterday, Rocky took a huge step forward in overcoming his fear of car rides. Instead of stressing about the ride, he focused on something much more important—a sweet treat and having fun! 🍦

Confidence isn’t built overnight. It’s built through small wins, positive experiences, and helping dogs learn that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.

🚨‼️🐾 A Quick Business Update 🐾

As Balanced Companions continues to grow, I wanted to take a moment to address a few things regarding scheduling and communication.

I truly appreciate every client who trusts me with their dog and allows me to be part of their training journey. My goal has always been to provide the best possible service, support, and communication for both dogs and their owners.

That said, I can no longer spend time repeatedly following up regarding scheduling, appointments, or training inquiries. If we’ve discussed training and I have reached out regarding scheduling, I will assume you are no longer interested if I do not receive a response and will continue filling my calendar accordingly.

Additionally, while I am always happy to help, training can only be effective when there is communication and follow-through on both ends. It is very difficult to address training concerns when appointments are not scheduled or communication is inconsistent.

Moving forward, business hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Calls and texts received after business hours will be returned during the next business day. While I understand that dog issues don’t always happen during business hours, I also need to maintain boundaries that allow me to continue providing quality service to all of my clients.

Please understand that these changes are not directed at any one person. They are simply necessary as my schedule continues to become busier and Balanced Companions continues to grow.

I appreciate all of you, your support, and the trust you place in me and your dogs. 💜

Same breed, completely different dogs, and that’s exactly why training isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Cooper is a young dog with a big personality who needed to learn how to slow down, think through situations, and stay neutral around people and the things happening around him instead of reacting to everything.

Millie, on the other hand, is a sweet, sensitive girl who needed confidence, direction, and reassurance that she doesn’t have to navigate the world on her own.

Through structure, clear communication, fair boundaries, and consistent guidance, both dogs are learning the same lesson: look to your handler for direction instead of making decisions yourself.

Confidence isn’t built through comfort alone, and neutrality doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from giving dogs the tools they need to succeed and helping them understand what’s expected of them.

Watching these two grow into calmer, more confident versions of themselves has been such a rewarding journey. 🐾💜

Annie is joining us for Day Training to build a strong foundation and set her up for success as she grows. Throughout her program, we’ll be focusing on confidence building, engagement, proper socialization, leash skills, impulse control, and all the important puppy basics that create a happy, well-mannered companion.

The puppy stage is the perfect time to start teaching good habits before unwanted behaviors become a problem, and we’re excited to help Annie learn how to navigate the world with confidence!

We can’t wait to share her progress with everyone. Let’s give Annie a warm welcome and wish her luck on her training journey! 🐶✨
