Hen Hoof and Hare Homestead My family and I moved to Lubbock from California back in 2015 with a dream of owning land and living a more sustainable lifestyle.

We raise/breed many varieties of animal's and also grow many different types of produce including grapes and sunflowers.

This is what a backyard should really be used for. I always garden in my backyard and I definitely recommend doing the same.

I want my children to grow up believing that a backyard full of food is more valuable than a yard made only to look perfect. 🌱🍅

Because a garden doesn’t just feed our family it teaches patience, hard work, gratitude, and the joy of growing something with our own hands. 🤍
