Everyone give a big ZenDog welcome to sweet Fayble! 💛 She’s officially joining us for our Board & Train program, and we’re excited to get to work!

Over the next couple of weeks, Fayble will be working on building stronger communication, better manners, confidence, and all of those important everyday skills that help make life together easier and more enjoyable.

If you've ever thought about trying dog sports, we encourage you to check out Bayou Dog Sports Training Club ! They're a wonderful local organization dedicated to bringing together dog lovers from across Acadiana to enjoy fun, engaging activities with their dogs.

Whether you're interested in barn hunt, scent work, rally, or simply looking for a community of people who love training and spending time with their dogs, Bayou Dog Sports hosts regular events and meetups for handlers and dogs of all experience levels.

At ZenDog, we love seeing dogs continue to learn and grow beyond our doors, and dog sports are a fantastic way to build confidence, strengthen your relationship, and have a great time together.

Congratulations to our August Employee of the Month, Lexi!

Although she's one of the newest members of the ZenDog family, Lexi has jumped right in and has been doing a phenomenal job as our Receptionist & Client Specialist. From helping clients to keeping everything running smoothly at the front desk, she has been an incredible addition to our team.

Dogs have always been a part of Lexi's life. Growing up with a mom who owns a dog facility up north, she has been surrounded by the industry for years and brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and genuine passion for dogs to ZenDog every day.

Thank you, Lexi, for your positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the care you show our clients, their dogs, and our team. We're so happy to have you as part of the ZenDog family, and we can't wait to see all you'll accomplish!

🌟🐾 Student Spotlight: Roast! 🐾🌟

When Roast first came to ZenDog, the world felt like a pretty scary place. This sweet young pup was afraid of just about everything. During play group, he preferred to hide instead of interact, and exploring new environments felt overwhelming.

Fast forward to today, and what a transformation we've seen! ❤️

Roast has truly come out of his shell. He's happily playing with his friends, confidently exploring the play yard, and soaking up all the love and attention from our trainers. Watching his confidence grow day by day has been one of the most rewarding parts of his journey.

Confidence isn't built overnight—it comes from patience, positive experiences, and allowing dogs to progress at their own pace. Roast is proof that when we meet dogs where they are and celebrate every small win, incredible things can happen.

We're so proud of you, Roast! Keep shining, little buddy. 🐶💙

Congratulations to our August Dogs of the Month, Bodhi & Hans! These handsome brothers have been part of the ZenDog family for quite some time. After completing our Day Training program, they've continued to join us regularly for both Day School and boarding.

Whether they're romping around with their friends in play group, participating in enrichment, or just soaking up another fun day at school, these two always make the most of their time with us. Their happy personalities and love for coming to ZenDog make them favorites among both our staff and their canine friends.

Thank you to Bodhi & Hans' family for trusting us with your boys. We love watching them continue to grow and can't wait for many more adventures together!

🏕️ Camping Adventure Week is here at ZenDog! 🌲🐾

This week, our campers are enjoying the great indoors with a camping-themed enrichment experience! We'll be snapping adorable photos in front of our camping backdrop and treating our four-legged adventurers to campfire favorites—marshmallows and hot dogs! 🌭🔥

Enrichment is about so much more than having fun. New experiences, novel treats, and engaging activities help build confidence, provide healthy mental stimulation, and make each day exciting for our dogs.

We can't wait to share all of this week's camping memories with you! 📸🐶
