Congratulations to Jordan, our Employee of the Month! 🐾

Although he is one of the newest members of the ZenDog team, Jordan has already made a tremendous impact. Coming to us with years of experience in daycare and boarding, he has brought a fresh perspective, strong leadership skills, and a passion for working with dogs that shines through every day.

As our Assistant Trainer, Jordan is currently learning the ins and outs of dog training and continues to impress us with his dedication, willingness to learn, and commitment to helping dogs and their families succeed. He has quickly become a valuable part of our team.

🌞 June Enrichment is Here at ZenDog! 🌞

This month is packed with fun, learning, and plenty of tail wags as we roll out a new round of enrichment activities designed to engage both mind and body.

Our June themes include:

🍓 Frozen Fruit Cups – a refreshing, dog-safe frozen treat to enjoy on warm days
🧩 Tape Challenge – problem-solving fun that encourages curiosity and confidence
💦 Sprinklers & Splash Pads – cooling off while having a blast in the summer sun
🪜 Confidence Course – building bravery one obstacle at a time
🫧 Bubble Party Week – because bubbles make everything better

Every activity is designed to support healthy stimulation, confidence building, and joyful play in a structured environment.

Button is an absolute joy to have in Day School and is one of the sweetest pups you'll ever meet. Whether he's hanging out with his friends, participating in activities, or simply sharing his happy personality with everyone around him, Button always brightens our day.

As one of our frequent Day School attendees, he has become a beloved part of the ZenDog family. We are so grateful for the opportunity to spend time with him and watch him thrive.

Guest protocol matters 🐾

When people come over, don’t just “hope for the best”—set your dog up for success from the start.

Use a crate or keep your dog on a leash initially to manage the situation. This helps prevent overexcitement and gives you control while they adjust.

Have treats ready and redirect their energy into simple, known behaviors like sit or down. Once they’ve settled, then you can release them to say hello.

Coach your guests too—have them stay calm, meet your dog at their level, and ignore any jumping. Attention only comes when all four paws are on the ground.

🚨 PLEASE NOTE:
• We do not offer Day School on weekends.
• Holiday boarding may require deposits and minimum stays.
• We are closed on major holidays and select dates throughout the year.

🐶 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 🐶

For the safety of all dogs in our care, all new dogs must:
✔ Complete a Temperament Evaluation
✔ Be Up-to-date on vaccinations
✔ Flea prevention
✔ Owner paperwork and emergency contact information

Not every dog is a daycare dog — and that’s okay! We carefully evaluate each dog to make sure our environment is the right fit for their personality, play style, and comfort level.

At ZenDog, we focus on clear communication, structure, relationship-building, confidence, and real-life skills. We believe training should help dogs succeed in everyday life — not just in a training room.

We use balanced, fair, and individualized training methods based on the dog in front of us. Every dog learns differently, and we tailor our approach to meet their needs while helping owners build trust, consistency, and leadership.

Welcome Harper to the ZenDog crew! 🐾

Harper is joining us for the next two weeks in our Board & Train program where we’ll be focusing on manners, socialization, and confidence building. She’s a smart girl who already has a great foundation, and we’re excited to help her continue growing into the best version of herself.

Her big goal? Becoming a therapy dog someday! 💙 We’ll be helping Harper learn how to stay calm, confident, and neutral in different environments while building the skills she’ll need to succeed out in the real world.

We can’t wait to watch her progress over the next two weeks. Go Harper! ✨

This pack had a great day together today! 🐾 From playtime in the yards to making new friends, this crew always knows how to keep the fun going.

We also welcomed a new face to the group — please welcome Louie the Presa Canario to the ZenDog family! Louie joined our medium-active dogs today and fit right in. We’re excited to watch his confidence grow and see him settle into the pack! 🖤💚
