We are always looking for foster homes, which eases the transition for a dog into a forever home and helps saves lives. We are a volunteer, foster-based, 501(c)3 non-profit, giant breed dog rescue. Our focus is on rescuing, rehoming, and saving the lives of Great Danes, Saint Bernards, English Mastiffs, and Great Pyrenees in CO, KS, OK, WY & TX. We are saddened to share the passing of Ara Jean Thomas-Carbonneau. She was an avid protector of animals and educated the public and policy makers alike in the needs concerning animal welfare. She also trained seizure alert dogs, Danes of course. While we have always had a great connection, it was deepened when she pulled Brie, the beauty pictured below.

Her support of our rescue was and still is greatly appreciated. She was an amazing woman, a warrior in modern times who focused on how she could make a positive difference. And she did, for so many. Those who she touched were better for having known her!

We love you, Ara Jean, and will forever miss you in our lives! Our prayers go out to her family!
