Hey all of my furry loves out there in Facebook land.
I wanted to put a post out there telling all of my clients and friends who also became family how very much I appreciate you all.
You all have gone through a very hard time with my late husband and I. Going through cancer with someone and being their love and caregiver at the same time ….. now that was rough.
I am so sorry for having to close my door and I do ask you please to understand that I had a lot of healing to do and a lot to figure out. I stayed in Brookville at our home property and couldn’t heal there either. I researched groomers in the neighborhood to see if there were any openings and if anyone was hiring so that I would be able to go back to grooming but there wasn’t anything. I was so unhappy and wanted to groom again and also wanted to be down south to live. I’ve always wanted to be down south so I started looking for grooming jobs down in NC near the ocean. I interviewed with one and their family accepted my family in and opened their home to us to come down and learn to mobile groom with them. God has opened up another chapter in my book and I began the process of moving down south. What a nice area. Oak Island, NC. Southport, NC and Brunswick CO. I don’t go to the beach too often but I enjoy the area. I love the flatness of the earth here, how you can see out for miles. The drives are simple and getting to Walmart is quick. People around home will understand that. If you live in Brookville it takes 1/2 hour to get to DuBois, Clarion or Punxsy. I’m in our own apartment now and working with a lovely lady who has a grooming van. I love this. I love mobile grooming bc I bring the whole salon to you. It’s an adventure every day. I love the people bc they’re so grateful for our service and the pups love the atmosphere that I create upon arrival. I can either come to your door or you can bring your pup out. However you decide, you never have to leave the comfort of your home. The atmosphere in my mobile salon is relaxing for your furry little love because I am calm from the moment we meet. I have music playing so it’s not silent and sometimes your pup and I sing together. The 🛁 bath is super relaxing for them because it’s our motto that the bath is what makes the groom its best. I have a shampoo nozzle and I also froth my shampoo to really get the bubbles going. We leave the shampoo on and massage your dog while the shampoo works and cleans down to the skin. Squeaky clean. That’s where the groom begins, with the bath. From there, I let my creativity take over and create the cute faces that everyone loves. I brought my hair styling skills with me and added them to my grooming and it’s a work of art. It truly is.
Grooming is where I love to be. The dogs love me and I love each and every one of them. It’s so healing when you’re in the right state of mind. I needed a change for the true healing to happen.
Thank you for reading. You are all amazing and I haven’t forgotten you. I’ll be back, in time. When I do, I’ll be back mobile and bring the salon to you and open another chapter in the book God is writing for me.
