Waiting for Charlie’s last AKC dog show. Mixed feelings that his show career has come to and end. He made us very proud.

On Thursday January 16, 2020 our sweet Charlie obtained his American Grand Championship with a 4 point major finishing in style with 5 majors. Thank you to judge Mr. Lloyd J. Constantine-Amodei for finding our boy deserving of this win in a field of gorgeous boxers. Thank you to our breeders Larry McCoy of McCoyBoxers, Teri Norton Underhill of Winstar’s Boxers and the breeder of Charlie’s sire Sherry Canciamille for all their love and support. Finally, Gary and I would like to thank our friend and Charlie’s handler, Chantal Villeneuve who has shown so much love and determination to finish our boy by putting every AKC point on him. Without Chantal Villeneuve and her husband Nick Vanderlinden this wouldn’t have been possible. Charlie is now known as BBPIS BISS AGCH CGCH McCoy’s Winstar’s Captured My Heart At Balsam 💗🐾🙏🐾💗

After an amazing Florida Dog Show circuit this was waiting for us in our mail upon our arrival home. McCoy’s Winstar’s Captured My Heart At Balsam, Charlie, started in Brooksville with just 3 AKC points and finished his American Championship. Charlie started his Best Of Breed showing with two 4 point majors and then a 5 point major Best Of Breed for his 3 majors needed for his American Grand Championship. He only needs single points now to finish. All this was made possible by our most talented handler, Chantal Villeneuve, who worked her magic with Charlie throughout our Florida trip. Thank you again to our wonderful breeders Larry McCoy of McCoyBoxers and Teri Underhill of WinstarBoxers who have been cheering Charlie on and our source of encouragement and knowledge. Gary and I are still pinching ourselves in complete awe of these achievements of our boy!!
