UPDATE: Thanks to the hard work of the Hernando County Sheriff's Department, Hero is back with his owner. Karma struck ARFN this time but just as a reminder to the other rogue rescues in the county, Karma is a bitch and it might be your turn next time! Treat all people fairly and with respect. That goes for all you judgmental keyboard activists too!
SO FOLKS WE NEED YOUR OPINION AND SUGGESTIONS. A women who is in domestic violence shelter has a rescue foster her dog and now refuses to give it back. PSA-We do not know this women but the situation concerns us. We are going to post her story, you tell me what you think please.

When I had to leave ###x, the shelter I was going to could not take dogs... my friend Carole Lawrence found me a local rescue. A beautiful lady and her husband came right away and promised to take good care of him. She brought Hero to me at least twice a week to visit, answered all my calls. Approximately 2 1/2 months in shelter, Ali was making harassing calls. Showing up at their gates, and shelter felt it was not safe for me there. I called Gail (lady) I handed Hero to, she said no worries, we would still get together... I moved an hour away. A couple days after being in new shelter I tried calling Gail numerous times... no response.. then I get a text from a complete stranger telling me Gail is sick, she is the president of the foster and has "replaced" Hero. I tell her I need to see him, she explains she is working and will talk later. After 7 unanswered calls, my legal advocate calls and Cheryl Fagdugo says the dog is fine and has been placed with her mother. 8 more unanswered or returned calls... staff advised me to report him stolen. I call her local police. They say get a report from my country, they will follow up. My county will NOT take a report since no crime was committed here. I looked up into on her and her foster... there are reports of mistreatment and euthanasia of dogs! I am freaking out.. I dont have her address... no working car and at a COMPLETE loss..
Can ANYONE advise? Hero can come here, they allow dogs. I have to leave soon, am leaving state.. HOW do I get my dog?!! Patti Galle. Does anyone know her? She has helped me in the past. PLEASE help!
