Sweet Josie has officially found her forever home in ☀️ Florida. ❤️

After the passing of my dear mentor, Sheryl Irwin, there were a few of her beloved dogs that needed to be placed in loving homes. Josie, who we believe is around 8 years old, was one of those special souls.

Today, my heart is full knowing she has found the perfect family. Watching her settle in, surrounded by love and happiness, brings so much comfort during such a difficult time. Special thank you to Ted Vida & Jerry Barlet (Starfox family) for helping to assure that everyone was accounted for and taken care of during this heartbreaking time.

A BIG thank you to Lauren Petroski and her family for opening your hearts and home to this sweet girl. Knowing she is surrounded by so much love means more than words can say.

We miss Sheryl more than words can express. She dedicated her life to her dogs and always wanted the very best for each and every one of them. I have no doubt that seeing Josie so loved would bring the biggest smile to her face.

Wishing Josie and her wonderful new family a lifetime of happiness together. ❤️ Sheryl’s legacy will continue to live on through every dog whose life she touched.

Looking for the Perfect Retirement Home ❤️

I'm searching for the perfect retirement home for Tyler, he is 8 years old, neutered and UTD on his shots.

Tyler was lovingly bred and owned by my late mentor, Sheryl Irwin, making him a very special boy with a cherished history. Finding the right home for him is incredibly important to me, and I will be taking my time to ensure he finds the perfect fit.

Tyler is looking for a quiet, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years as a treasured companion he would t mind having another dog friend as he gets along well with others. He deserves a family who will spoil him, give him plenty of love, and let him spend the rest of his life being exactly what he was always meant to be.... a beloved pet.

It's with great sadness, we said goodbye to an icon of the toy fox terrier, my mentor, my friend, and biggest cheerleader, Sheryl Irwin of Starfox Toy Fox Terriers.

The impact Sheryl had on the Toy Fox Terrier breed cannot be measured. Through dedication, knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to the standard, she created a legacy that will forever be remembered. Starfox produced generations of exceptional Toy Fox Terriers, including National Specialty winners, Best in Specialty winners, Best in Show winners, and countless champions who proudly carried her name and her vision into the ring.

She possessed an extraordinary eye, a deep understanding of structure and type, and a passion for preserving what made the Toy Fox Terrier exceptional. She was a fierce competitor who always brought her best, but behind that competitive spirit was an immense love for her dogs and for the people fortunate enough to learn from her.

To say Sheryl was my mentor does not fully capture what she meant to me. She was my guide, my biggest supporter, and my constant source of encouragement. She celebrated the victories, helped me through the disappointments, and reminded me that every campaign has its highs and lows....but the most important thing is that we continue forward with passion and purpose.

Some of my most favorite memories will always be Campaigning Petty together, it was truly unforgettable!! Petty, a National Specialty Winner, Best in Specialty Winner, Best in Show, and 2x Best of Breed winner at the Royal Canin National Championship. Those accomplishments were special, but the memories and the journey with Sheryl will always mean even more.

Frankie was my first Starfox, and she was everything I ever dreamed of in a white and tan Toy Fox Terrier. A Group winner herself, Frankie became a beautiful representation of the quality, dedication, and legacy that Sheryl spent her life building.
Sheryl and I spoke often....very often. Our conversations were always about the dogs, the future, and the plans she had for Starfox. She had a vision, and she always seemed to know the right path forward. Carrying on her wishes will be a great responsibility and an honor that I do not take lightly. With the help of Ted and Jerry We will continue to strive for excellence and protect the legacy she worked so hard to create.
Starfox strong.

Sheryl, thank you for sharing your knowledge, your friendship, your wisdom, and your love for this incredible breed. Thank you for believing in me and allowing me to be a small part of the legacy you created.
Your name will continue to be spoken with respect. Your dogs will continue to tell your story. Your influence will live on through every champion, every breeder you mentored, and every person whose life you touched.
You will be missed, but never forgotten. I miss you so much already my friend.

"Frankie" comes to us from our dear friend and mentor, Sheryl Irwin of Starfox Toy Fox Terriers. Sheryl’s dedication to the breed and wealth of knowledge have helped produce countless champions, Best in Show winners, National Specialty winners, and some of the top winning Toy Fox Terriers in the country. We are so happy that we have had the pleasure of being a part of this family and learning from someone who has given so much to the breed we love.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have Frankie as part of our family and breeding program. She represents generations of thoughtful breeding, breed type, and the passion that makes this breed so special. She finished quickly from the puppy classes in limited showing with multiple breeds from the classes, later becoming a group winner!

We are looking forward to some pretty babies in the near future.

There is nothing more rewarding as a breeder than watching a puppy you bred grow into exactly what they were meant to be. Finn has absolutely found his calling in scent work, and we couldn’t be more proud of him and his owner, Annette. Seeing Annette’s commitment to helping him succeed makes it even better.

Congratulations to this incredible team on all their accomplishments so far, we know this is only the beginning for Finn! 🐾💙

Backer has officially traded the show life for the retirement life, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home for him. ❤️

We are so happy to see him begin this next chapter with the lovely Gary and Wendy Anderson of Destin, Florida. These days, Backer is living his absolute best life, soaking up the sunshine, patrolling his new kingdom, and spending his days doing what he does best… snuggling. ☀️🐾

While it’s never easy to see one leave, there’s nothing more rewarding than knowing they are loved beyond measure and spoiled exactly the way they deserve. We can’t wait to watch all of Backer’s new adventures in retirement.
