My little pony worked his heart out for Katie Talley today. Yes these are all their ribbons!!! Showmanship, halter , equestrian and rail classes. Katie shows with youth and in the open classes with adults. Very proud trainer.

JJ is for sale and will have videos soon. She does every! Western, hinter, trail etc. I've owned him since a 3 year old. He is between 8 and 10 I'll have to look at his papers. Yes he is registered ;)

I needed today!!!!! Daisy Mae rode her heart out. I was just there as an old passenger lol ;) We received four first place and a second place in our classes. All classes had a good amount of riders today!

This was an all bred open horse show. Daisy rode with mules, gaited horses and of course other stock type horses. This was a first for us. Lots of beautiful miniature horses too! We have a pony mule here and some minis so she felt right at home. I was proud of all the new exposure she got and how she handled it.

The compliments we received today did my heart well. Today would have been my mamas 77 birthday but she celebrated it in heaven. I was a little sad this morning missing her but the kindess of these folks made my heart happy.

The circuit is called Lucky Stars Open Show Series. The Halifax 4-H group and their fierce leader Beth Bailey poured their hearts into this show today. It raises money for the club to do all sorts of things like 4-H states. I really enjoyed watching the kids in their classes. They all worked together. One kiddo really stood out to me. He told me his name but I won't put it on fb. He was helping with ribbons. So polite with the most handsome smile. I enjoyed talking to him about the mini he was showing earlier in the day Peanut. Oh how I hope he has a great 4-H states show this coming weekend!!

Thanks for a great show! Oh and it's held in Amelia VA. I forgot that part.

ATTENTION open horse show judges... I'm putting together a new list of judges. I have all the folks that have judge for me and a few added. Would love to add you to our list... What am I doing with this? Well our show manager will use it for our shows next year but I also send these to other show managers that need new judges, replacement judges etc. If I get asked to judge and I'm booked I pass the list on. Post below your info and I'll put you on this list. If I've talked to you this week still feel free to post your information because someone may see this post and save it as well!

I really love this mare! Going to save up my monies to get her a massagey. She is really sound but I want her to loosen up... She will never have to worry about her tummy going hungry again. We love her. Isn't she beautiful!!!! Very much out of shape. We are slowly bringing her back!!
