The Goniopora coral is also known as a flower pot coral. There are many species of it and many different colors that will pop in your reef tank. They do tend to be a little bit harder to keep because they can go from healthy to not healthy really quickly. They do require a medium amount of light and a medium amount of flow. I would absolutely spot feed these corals a high quality food to and amino acids for growth. If you have any questions about this coral, contact us anytime!

We had an amazing time at the FFM this weekend and appreciate the support and seeing everyone that stopped by our table for inverts and quarantined fish! Record year for us and first time for Becca. Her mind was blown!

Now that the show is over, it's time for us to get back to regular work. Salt stocks are low and we could use a pallet or two. Taking orders this week for the 200 gallon mix Instant Ocean Salt Cases at $59.00 each.

Me after after doing job prep for my service techs at midnight, driving to NY to pick up a Philippines import, Worcester to pick up live brine shrimp, putting everything away, opening the store at 4pm, picking up kids from after-school program, kids to soccer playoffs, pizza night with the family then Marvel End Game to finish off the night. Today, we are going to talk about the Plecostomus fish also known as the Pleco. This is a great addition to a freshwater aquarium of the right size as they do get big. About 12” plus! As the same with every other fish, this one also has a bunch of different species.

A lot of times, you will see these guys stuck to the glass or a rock but the neat thing about them is they are a sucker fish. They will help keep the algae at bay in your tank and keep you interested.
