Hey Bo!

Happy 1st birthday to Lila and her amazing Luna littermates!

At almost 1 year-old and 38 lbs, Lila continues to amaze us & keep us on our toes! She is the most energetic, fearless pup we’ve ever experienced in our lives! Our (nearly grown kids) wanted a “spunky one” and boy, did we get that with Lila! We’re an active family who loves to be outdoors so it works for us!

Most notably, Lila has a 5’ vertical! So, we’re working on not going into kangaroo mode when we see deer on our walks, want inside the house, and desire to get someone’s attention. Lila is social to the max - loves everyone and everything! She still loves to swim and will do laps around the pool even when by herself! We are looking into some additional training for miss Lila just to ensure we’re doing everything we can to help us learn how to harness some of her fun energy while allowing her to be her full spirited self! Curious if anyone else’s pup has character traits similar to our Lila?!
At 1, she loves:
• Playing tug
• Playing chase with Kora (4, Stella litter)
• Hunting squirrels and lizards in our backyard
• Walks
• Spotting deer on walks
• Digging
• Eating her own poo (yikes - gotta stop this)
• Sitting on her humans
• Snuggles by her humans on the couch at 8PM sharp!
We love her so much. Perfect addition!

Hi! Hope you are well! Honey is such a great girl! We love her so much. She’s been enjoying so many fun things - camping, the beach, fun visits with her favorite friends - Ella and Gunner (2 older vizslas she gets to play with often), lots of frisbee games, golf cart rides, lizard hunting and pool time! She’s so loving and sweet and has the perfect amount of energy for my 14 year old daughter and 10 year old son. She loves her shadow, “helping” in the yard, and burying sticks. She also gets very excited for carrots, homemade dog treats, and chicken! She’s such a happy girl and has brought so much joy to our family!

She’s weighing in at 38 lbs. and everyone who sees her comments on her beautiful coat and eyes! Shes a beauty for sure!

Zoe is 37 lbs now and a ball of energy. Her favorite things to do are going on her morning run , chasing lizards through the garden, and digging holes in the backyard. She has so much energy, but she also knows how to be gentle and affectionate around little kids. True to the vizsla velcro name, she sticks close by and will follow us wherever we go, right underfoot all the time. She’s easily fit right into our family and we all adore her!

Arches is doing amazing! He’s up at 6am everyday to greet the sun and is full go until the sun goes down then it’s time to get under a nice warm blanket. He spends countless hours in the park chasing birds and squirrels! Could not ask for a more loving, loyal and energetic pup! He is 48 lbs.

Remi is doing great! She is full of life, personality and energy (of course). We welcomed a baby over the summer and while sometimes she is not a fan of having to share my attention in particular, she is very obviously curious and loving towards her baby sister. She weighs 44lbs!

Tyson is doing amazing and we love him so much, don’t know if his siblings are like him but he is attracted by shadows and goes crazy chasing them, he has a cat in himself.

He weighs 57.4lbs.

Hi Bo,
Here are some photos of Tilly.
She is a wonderful puppy, she is sweet and gentle and so easy to train. She is 39 pounds and loves her morning walks, chasing the ball, squirrels and night time snuggles.
She also loves going to visit her sister Zoli who lives across the road.
We are so happy with Tilly and always receive compliments on how pretty she is.
We think she is pretty perfect!

Honey is a sweetheart and she loves people! She weighs 39 pounds and gets great reports at the Vet. She enjoys playing with her brother Eli and going for walks! Honey is absolutely obsessed with playing fetch with her frisbee and seems to have endless energy. We love our Vizslas!!

Sorry for the late reply. We are out at lake LBJ where time seems to move a little slower than usual.
This is Koda’s favorite place to be. He spends hours chasing deer or else his sister Lila around the yard. The kids take him on walks around the neighborhood, but his favorite thing to do is to go on the pontoon boat to the island, where he can run around with other dog friends and splash in the shallows.
He’s 40lbs now but feels bigger. He’s a good listener, and is happy to do whatever he’s asked. Like his sister, he wants to be with a family member if given the chance, but unlike her, he doesn’t need to be in constant physical contact when around one of us. As long as he can be within a foot or so, that’s good enough for him.
I’ve attached one of my favorite pictures of him. I also sent you one of him and Lila a couple weeks ago with her update in case you want to dig that one up also.

All good here. You know we are a Vizsla loving family; with Rosy being our 3rd in 25 Years . Rosy is doing great weighing in at 43 pounds. She loves catching her frisbees in the yard making absolutely unbelievable catches as she jumps up 3’ in the air. Lately she’s been showing off catching 2 frisbees one after the other. She and her older Havapoo sister, Cookie love to get into mischief sneaking out to visit neighbors.

All in all she’s doing well ~ still chasing shadows and light reflections when she’s not cuddling or frisbee catching!

Hi Bo -

Nice to hear from you, and sorry for the late reply. We've been so happy to have Lila in our family -- thank you for her and Koda both. I've attached a photo of them together and one of Lila by herself.

Lila's weight is 35 lbs. She has always been pretty skinny compared to our other vizslas, but the vet seems to think she's still a healthy weight. Because of her thinness, you can see her ribs and spine a little more clearly than Koda's. She has tended to be more of a velcro dog that Koda -- her favorite place to be is in our lap or resting against one of us where she can press against us. She has a favorite spot in the bed and will not tolerate being told to go to any other spot -- she can be quite stubborn. Her behavior is mostly very good although she sometimes confuses "outside" with "kennel" in a way that we know isn't confusion at all. She loves to go to the lake still -- we have a little place out at LBJ now where she and Koda love to run around and go boating to the island where they enjoy splashing with other dogs and kids. Overall she's doing great!

Pickles is 50 lbs. His favorite thing to do is going on long, off leash trail runs. We love taking him on family road trips, where he has two very important jobs (according to him): car guardian and pillow for the kids. We love Pickles so much - he is an amazing dog!

Kora has had an exciting year 3!
Last May, Kora’s world was rocked when a new fur-sister, Lila, arrived! ( April ’24 Luna/Draco litter! ) Since then, Kora has evolved from being on the shyer side to really stepping into more of an alpha role with Lila! It took her awhile! However, now, Kora will tolerate Lila sitting near, if not on her! Kora is healthy and turns heads wherever we go! She loves going on walks and hunting for lizards around the yard. Kora’s disposition is amazing. She’s pretty calm (for a vizsla) unless she spots a deer on a walk or one of her favorite humans walks through the door. Kora continues to be a wonderful source of pet therapy for our mom/grandma who has late-stage Alzheimer’s and lives with us. We often think Kora is part-human because her understanding of vocabulary is so large! At almost 4, Kora feels like an old soul. She communicates through those big amber eyes of hers and the funny little sounds she makes - her own V language. If it’s not already obvious, we love her to the moon and back!
