Thanks for your email. Lily had her third round of shots last week. She weighed 20.5 lbs and has grown significantly—taller, longer, faster, stronger, with improved agility and jumping ability. She is very healthy and doing great. She is teething heavily, and we expect her baby teeth to start falling out soon.
Although Riley (pictured with Lily) is an eight-year-old, 65-lb Vizsla and has taught her a lot, Lily dominates play and brings boundless puppy Vizsla energy. Still, she loves her snuggle time with him and with us. She is a sweet girl.

Ruby is doing great. Weighing in at 23 lbs. She already had her 3rd set of vaccines a few weeks ago and is scheduled to get the final ones next week. She sleeps great in her crate! No recent potty accidents in the house. Wakes up with a lot of energy. She loves walks, playing fetch with a ball, exploring the backyard, and challenging us to a game of hide and seek where we find her under the bed and behind clothes in the closet. Still a lot of chewing and redirection. We get a lot of comments on her long legs so may be time to take up running 🤪 overall she’s a happy, healthy pup and we love her a lot!

Pepper is doing great. All shots complete and 23.5 lbs. She's started puppy obedience classes a couple weeks ago and is doing pretty well with the basics (sit, come, down). More outings for socialization now that her shots are done. Walking her human sisters to school and sitting on the sidelines at soccer practice.

We have utterly enjoyed having Tolvaj! Our little potato is such a sweet and loving boy. He is much more vocal than Kifli was and has a strong interest in birds at a distance, tracking them as they fly by. He enjoys learning and his training is really starting to progress! Tolvaj weighed in at 21lbs on Monday 9/08.

Hello hello! Sorry for the late reply. We have been super busy. We officially moved to Luling this last month. Ruby Sue has 150 acres to run and boy does she LOVE it. We have been coming to the farm since we got her and she’s use to it now. She runs with our other dog Mia and they stick together. Ruby Sue responds well to a collar that beeps for her to return(no shock). She is almost trained off leash to walk around the farm. Our other dog has really helped get the hang of that. She eats ALOT! Eggs, milk, raw meats, and some kibble. She always has to carry around a stick and loves to dig as you can see in the pic below.. She has the natural instinct and we caught her the other day pointing to an animal she thought was near by. Was pretty cool to see! She is fully crate trained but prefers to lay on us . She is potty trained for the most part but we are outside all day so that has helped alot. She is very happy and so are we. Grateful to have her in our family.
Ruby Sue is officially 21 lbs and all up to date with vet.

Hi Bo,

Murphy is a loving, cuddly, 50 # lapdog who would love to sleep in our bed every night. Luckily, he is very good about sleeping in his open crate until early morning when he and his 3 pack mates get to come up for early morning snuggles. He did however, recently spend 3 nights sleeping with our first ever overnight petsitter - I think he was quite pleased with himself!

Murphy’s half sister Maisie is still his best friend and he is extremely tolerant of her antics - she can be relentless! Their wrestling sometimes seems like a heard of elephants. Murphy is very active and we hike 4-5 days a week at a friend’s ranch. I get 12-15 miles a week while he and his sister get something more.

Unfortunately, all that running in the woods occasionally results in a little mishap. Just before Thanksgiving last year, Murphy managed to scratch his left cornea in multiple locations. Recovery required multiple checkups, lots of eye drops and a continuous cone for 4 long weeks. Then a week after being released from his cone poor Murphy managed to break a toe while playing in our backyard. We just thought the cone was a challenge, at least he could go for walks in the cone. The broken toe required 4 full weeks of confinement and then a very gradual return to regular activities.

Thankfully, Murphy is quite resilient and has suffered no long term consequences from his mishaps. Hopefully this year will be a little less eventful.

We love our Murph-man!

Hard to believe they are 3 already! Nelson is 60 lbs of pure love. The guy loves everyone he meets and is seriously the sweetest boy ever. He’s been amazing with our almost 4 month old daughter Zoey. So gentle and loves giving her kisses. They are gonna be best pals for sure. Nothing makes him happier than Viz Whizz hikes with 10-20 of his best vizsla/weim/GSP friends — we’ve been loving having that community here. Enjoy the pics and thanks again.

Josey is doing great. She weighs 47 lbs at last vet check. She keeps this family hopping! She’s not timid AT ALL around people or other dogs. She handles herself well at the dogparks, meeting new dogs or seeing old friends. She’s happiest running “all out” on an off-leash Viz Whizz hike, or going to the lake. She loves wrestling her big sister Brandy and going to Bass Pro Shop to stare-down the fish! She’s just a crazy girl and we love her SO much.

Hey Bo,
Luke is doing fantastic. We relocated to Georgia and he now has almost a half acre backyard to enjoy. He is still very in tune with the wildlife and spends time sitting and watching the birds until he can’t stand it and bolts after them. Squirrels and deer are still his favorite friends in the wild to see. He loves to give his people big, huge licks, is super affectionate, and adores his sister Lexi. He always has some sort of toy in his mouth or very close by.

Luke is now 60 pounds! He’s so handsome and strong!

Hope all is well with you and your family! Ginger is still silly as ever as a 3 year old. She lives life on the hunt, whether it be at home, in the yard, on our hikes or even in the water. She’s always pursuing something that she’s fixated on. Ginger somehow always finds a way to weave in her goofiness to everything she does. She has the softest coat, can sleep anywhere, and has no sense of personal space when it comes to our other vizsla ;-). Along with all of her funny traits, she is the most obedient girl, quick to respond to any command we give her.

Hi Bo,
Maisie (09/09/2023) is our Wild Child. She still weighs 39-40 #, is healthy, happy, and extremely active. Maisie is either full speed ahead or crashed and cuddly. Her half-brother Murphy remains her best friend and favorite plaything. She still chases anything that moves, trying to catch elusive shadows, reflections and all winged creatures. On occasion she does catch something, we’re just hoping she’ll learn to leave the spicy ones alone. Earlier this summer she got stung in the mouth by a wasp?, and got to spend part of the day at the vet under observation while the swelling went down.

As you can see in the photos Maisie is very active. We hike 4-5 days a week at a friend’s ranch and I get 12-15 miles a week. Maisie and her pack-mates get that plus more. On occasion that more has resulted a few stitches but I can assure you, didn’t slow her down at all.

Miss Maisie is very smart and has successfully completed two more advanced obedience classes this year. We’re hoping to enroll her in some agility classes just for fun and to keep her busy. Even as active as we are she still has that puppy personality and on occasion still gets herself into a little too much mischief.

Archie is such a loving dog. He has the wild Vizsla energy but he’s as sweet as he can be. He loves to push his bigger brother out of the way to get all the petting he feels he deserves. He loves jumping high (looks like he’s on a trampoline), he doesn’t really love following commands 🤣 and he eats all sorts of sticks outside which we try to watch and warn him. The best way to describe him is that he’s just a warm hug on a cold winter day! We love our Archie!

Hi Bo,
It’s been such a privilege to care for and grow alongside Kifli over the past three years. She’s an incredible companion—wildly intelligent, emotionally intuitive, and always eager to engage. We’ve shared countless adventures together: road trips, mountain biking, hikes in the woods, agility training, scent work, dock diving, and simply enjoying each other’s company.
Kifli currently holds her CGC, Novice, and Intermediate Trick Dog titles, and we’re actively working toward her Advanced title. Earlier this year, she sustained an athletic injury, and we’ve spent several months focused on her recovery. She’s now undergoing physical therapy with a fantastic specialist in Tulsa who works with Police K9s and Search & Rescue dogs. We’re hopeful she’ll be back to her high-energy activities by the end of the year.
When we picked up her brother, Tolvaj, a few weeks ago, we briefly talked about how Kifli has been naturally providing medical alerts for my CPTSD and other health-related situations. I’m thrilled to share that, after consulting with my doctor, Kifli is now officially recognized as my service dog. Her instinctive responses were evident early on, and we’ve nurtured those abilities through training—using playtime and fetch to teach specific medical tasks like retrieving medication on command.
It might sound cliché, but I truly can’t imagine life without her.

Dash has had another year full of love, cuddles, and fun! A few of his favorite things are chasing light reflections, birds, lizards, and butterflies, playing fetch at the local dog park, hiking new trails, cuddling into the bed sheets, having zoomies up and down the stairs, and eating pumpkin and coconut oil. He is becoming more comfortable with the water and loves retrieving his toy duck from our pool. We are looking forward to another exciting year with Dash! More pics to follow.
Dash’s weight is typically between 57 and 60 lbs. we have found that Costco’s premium lamb or chicken blends work great for him with 1 consequen a day and either a scoop of pumpkin or some coconut oil.

Lily is doing very well. She has had her 2nd round of shots, weighed in at 14 lbs., and our vet said she is exceptionally healthy. Aside from the weight gain, she has sprouted in height the past few weeks.
She is good, consistent eater and lets us know at the back door when she needs to go outside to go potty. She is a little Vizsla ball of energy of course. It helps to have Riley (our 8-year old Vizsla) to diffuse much that energy – to include being her favorite teething toy. Although, as nice of a guy as he is, he has begun to set boundaries with her.
Lily is a very outgoing puppy and loves all people and other animals. There is not much that scares her. She enjoys a nightly leashed 1/2 mile walk in our neighborhood. When not actively playing and teething, she is a great snuggler and is a loving little dog.
She is a very smart little girl and sometimes we have to pause to remind ourselves that she is still a baby when she acts up.

Good morning,
Beau has gotten his 2nd round of shots and is doing great. He goes on walks with us each morning for about 1.5 miles. He loves playing fetch outside and running around. He’s doing great with potty training. He is not sleeping through the night but soon hopefully we get there. We have incorporated nightly walks to see if that helps as well. Any helpful tips for that is great! He loves cuddling and sleeps in the silliest positions.

Ruby Sue is doing great! She’s not eating as much, but I think she’s getting adjusted maybe. She cried a bit the first day but our other dog and her started chasing each other today and I think she’s happier. She sleeps all night in the crate, couple times at night she whines to go potty but other than that she’s asleep. She’s already claimed Mias dog bed haha but Mia doesn’t mind.

Tolvaj is doing great we love him so much! He’s a pro at road trips as we take Kifli to PT in Tulsa and he sleeps the majority of the ride. He’s learning his name/recall, down and stand. Kennel training is also progressing nicely as well as sleeping through the night. Everyone is still settling in so we won’t have a full family shot yet. His second round of shots is scheduled for August 4th with our vet.

Remi is awesome, we are so pleased with her! Ruby is a sweetheart of a puppy! They are doing well, eating well and getting comfortable in their new surroundings. The kennel training is already working well; we have followed your guidance on having the kennels in the same room and facing each other.

Raider our vizsla is adjusting well to the pups and it’s great to see Remi and him already forming a rapport. Remi is not afraid to give it right back to Raider when playing tag!

Walter is doing great, and it’s hard to believe that we haven’t always had him as our own. The past two years since we adopted him have been amazing to say the least. He is a ball of goofy sunshine! Wally is happiest when he is snuggling his family, going for walks, or playing outside with his kids. He still doesn’t love the pool, but he gets on the first step to cool off in the summer all on his own. He is not as agile as Junie, so he manages to parkour off of the walls when making a corner! He likes squirrels and LOVES birds, settling for hunting flies and dragonflies when outside or if a pesky dude gets inside. We love our sweet guy! He is weighing in at 42.5 pounds.

Josey absolutely loves the farm and has a wonderful life. She generally goes out with me in the mornings and evenings when it’s not so hot and runs and explorers. She listens exceptionally well. I remember you telling me when I picked her up that she was a smart dog and without question, she is the smartest dog I’ve ever had. She has over 250 acres to run on and she knows the boundaries well and has never runoff on her own and wherever you tell her to stay, she will be there when you come back waiting. Occasionally, her intelligence can test my patience. only for a short while.She is very friendly with anyone. The UPS driver has gotten into trouble because he is coming to visit her on his route. She will go in the truck with him and knows which pocket to go for to get her treat. I have to laugh when I come home and find a package with a treat sitting on top of it. It’s always pleasant in the evening because she knows that is the time that she gets my daughter, myself and her to spend quality time together. She is a great dog and friend.
