BARC Rescue Oklahoma We save injured, homeless pets~Please donate at barcrescue.org ~ Venmo: Barc Broken Arrow Rescue Corp.

Broken Arrow Rescue Community (“BARC”), is a nonprofit, no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization serving the homeless pets of Oklahoma. At BARC, we strive to rescue homeless pets regardless of the circumstance, but place great emphasis on saving shelter pets in danger of being euthanized. Once rescued, we undertake a rigorous process to find our pets a permanent home with a loving, responsible a

nd committed family. To do so, we utilize a comprehensive adoption process that includes vetting the potential adopters as well as educating potential adopters on the responsibilities/seriousness of pet ownership. By doing so, we hope to ensure our pets will never have to face the situation that lead them to us in the first place. All animals in our care are spayed and neutered and receive any and all necessary veterinarian treatment and are placed in nurturing foster homes until they are ready to find their forever home. At BARC, it is our mission to provide unwavering care and treatment for all animals, regardless of age, breed or other characteristics. Furthermore, we remain committed to the well-being of our rescued pets even beyond the adoption process. To accomplish our goal of providing homeless and at need animals with a second chance, we strive to continuously foster relationships with area shelters and other rescue organizations to develop the network of support necessary to make our mission of providing a better life to pets in need an attainable goal. is a 501(c)(3) animal rescue group, incorporated Feb. 15, 2017.

Urgent need.. preferably the Oklahoma City area.
This is where her current foster is.
Please share…..
I desperately need a foster from the 1st to the 5th of August. (In 2 days 😬😰)
Her foster had a scheduled vacation. Her dog sitter cannot keep her and the other dogs. It’s just too much.

It’s for Bebe that just recovered from Parvo. She cant go to regular boarding because she hasn’t had vaccines yet.
She can’t be around puppies or unvaccinated dogs.
The lady that found her had originally agreed to puppy sit her while the foster we found was out of town.
She has other puppies, that won’t work now.
PLEASE SHARE to find a temp foster with middle age or older vaccinated dogs or someone that doesn’t have dogs right now that would be willing to help.
Please message the page if you can help
(We can also do foster to adopt pending her spay if somone is interested in adopting)
She’s very sweet good puppy! (4-5 months old)

If I foster her, I will not be able to foster any strays or shelter dogs or puppies or unvaccinated dogs for a year to two years.
Basically it will shut down the rescue if I don’t find somone or a vet that will keep her 💔😭

People always say…
If I ever get rich or win the lottery or have the money, I’m going to start an animal rescue.

There’s never enough money, even if you won the lottery.
The more you take, the more it cost.
Money is not the biggest issue.
It’s the time, the effort, the work, and giving up everything.
These are precious, breathing, living beings that have to be cared for, and cared for well.

It’s around the clock job.
If you don’t have help or volunteers, it’s you!! The buck stops with you.

So….don’t wait to win the lottery…
help other rescues by fostering, giving your time, helping with fundraisers or donating.
You don’t have to wait, you can start now.

Update on Bebe…
She is feeling better. She is eating and drinking.
Her fosters said that she’s getting a little bit more puppy energy last night and today.
We think she’s on the mend. I think it’s safe to say she made the curve.

It really is a miracle. 🙏🏼

When we intake a stray dog, a shelter dog or owner surender, we never know what we’re going to get.
It’s a given that 75% of them will be a medical case. 😞
You know that feeling you get when you get a new dog and you’re excited but you’re also a little scared. I get that every time I take one in the program, even after all the years.
Monthly donations and occasional ones help ease my fears. Thank you!

Hugs from Bebe too. Thank you for saving her.

(She was most likely dumped after they knew she was coming down with Parvo or other dogs around her 😞)

Update, I paid the $788 for fluids, anabiotic’s, and nausea medicine, probiotics for supportive care. Thank you to anyone who pitched in. I gave all the extra money I had.
Im so sad for her 😞

⚠️Emergency ⚠️ Bebe tested positive for Parvo
💔 I made a post about a Good Samaritan finding her and our foster taking her in last week. She was found emaciated in OKC area.

She tested positive for Parvo and is now on her way to Blue Pearl Anima Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Please donate any amount to help her.
(Our Rescue account is nearly 0)
I am adding the donate button. I will also put our cash app and paypal, and Venmo links in the comments for faster a way to help.
Send good vibes that she’ll be okay 😞🙏🏼l
