****RESERVED***

Let's try this again because ppl don't read and I just deleted the whole post last night. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ if interested pm only. Any questions here will be deleted. I do not fly, meet or transport. Im in south central VA. He is almost 6 weeks right now, will be ready Sept 10th. He is already reduced to compensate for a small umbilical bump that is cosmetic, no health issue, and can be fixed at neuter if your vet suggests it. Some do not even suggest messing with it. That does not mean he is cheap or free. It means that any reasonable vet should not charge more than $100-$150 to fix it at neuter. It's literally a few stitches when they're already under anesthesia. A small extra fee, 6 months from now, that I've already taken off for this beautiful boy. It's also in my contract for all my babies because they're common in shih tzus and usually don't show up until around 5 weeks old, if they're small. It does not mean he is damaged goods! He is beautiful, playful, and curious! He deserves a loving family just like any of my babies do. If seriously interested I can send you a video of his little outtie bump that you can barely see. I try to be as transparent as I can be about my babies. I want him to go to the perfect family that is not going to haggle me or just wants something for free about a minor flaw that is common in the breed. I want someone that will love him and think he is perfect like I do!

No rain or wet grass so we decided to go out today and romp around.

So true about this message. Im obviously hormonal because I was tearing up writing this.
The past 25 years I've had some life altering experiences. I know everybody goes through stuff, so I'm not special in the least little bit.

But, From my firstborn son being stillborn at 38 weeks when I was 23, to my second born son being diagnosed with autism at age 2 and being told to put him somewhere or medicate him at the age of 9 because of his self injurious behaviors. Watching him hit himself for years, trying to hit me, or putting holes in the walls because he was going through puberty and could not talk and tell me how crazy he was feeling.
Thinking I had my life figured out with my career, to end up leaving my career of teaching at 35 which I loved. Deciding to leave it ALL and try something new that I could do at home so I could be more present for my son that was struggling. And that's just the half of it. The other half was trying to navigate all that while rebuilding my life and starting my business after many failed relationships because my kids come first. And dealing with severe autistic behaviors before it was " trendy" to be on the spectrum and "neurodivergent". AND raise my other son that is 5 years younger and protect him and make space for him as well during all of it.

But as this post says, my DOGS was always there, always by me, even on my sad days that I didn't know how I was going to get through it. Even when I couldn't sleep or eat for months because I suspected abuse by the school system and the teachers that was suppose to protect him and O couldn't prove anything other than bruises because he couldn't talk! all these years later, it seems like a dream, like I've lived 2 seperate lives already.
All the uncertainty when he was younger just about killed me. Anxiety was through the roof! Always questioning myself, am I doing the right thing? Leaving my job? Trusting in a higher power that if I do what's right by my son, my child that cannot speak up for himself, then hopefully everything will work itself out in my favor and I'll get some help from above.
My family thought I was crazy. Nobody really understood my mental turmoil and the day to day life I was living with my son. Words just cannot explain it.
My dogs always knew how I felt or when I was having a bad day. Which back then was many, almost everyday!

I just wanted my son to be the happy boy he was before. But now, 16 years later, and thanks to my wonderful families that keep spreading my good name, my intuition to just keep going, my drive to never stop, and the love for my kids and dogs, I'm now at a peaceful place. It did work itself out.
My son is happy now, content, and will be 22 this fall!

I feel like I fought a war all by myself and won. But the battle scars on my soul and nervous system are still there just lingering under the surface. I'm just waiting for the next crash out, next meltdown.
I still fear everytime we have to go to the dentist or the doctor. I still get anxiety about it days before!I'm positive I have some form of ptsd from the nearly a decade, of not knowing what to expect with him from day to day, hour to hour.
But for today, the future and most of the time now the past 6 years, I'm at peace, I'm content. Gardening, ponding, playing with the dogs and the few cats we have and chilling with them and my boys peacefully is my new life.

I'm proud that I never gave up on him and the life I knew he deserved. I fought for him for services, sp*ech, ot, private school, behavioral therapy, and the whole school district I lived in for years and years from the time he was age 2, while working full time out of the home!
When we moved here I flat out told them he will do homebound, or homeschooling. I'm not sending him back to school, public or private!
I cannot go back to the self injurious behaviors that school was causing. It was just too much for him. And yes we can fight about it because I AM that mom! I know how to call a placement meeting in a second! 🀣 I'm probably only one of a few ppl and families that when covid happened, everything got better for us. It opened my eyes to how much school "private school for autism" year round school, was causing him distress.
Luckily they heard it through the grapevine from the last school district, Im a pain in the a_ _. I know they was glad I moved 🀣😬
So, the new school district gave me what I wanted out the gate. But he is almost 22 now so he is done all together and I couldn't more happy and niether can he!
So, when I say I'm in my peaceful era, it really is THAT deep for me and my sons.
If anybody doesn't like how I do business, that I'm not bending to everyone's demand anymore, or let ppl waste my time, or protecting my sons and I peace, I say " sons" because my son Brayden was there and little, 5 years younger than his brother. He endured all this too while his older brother was struggling. If you cannot respect my boundaries, you can simply find someone else to get a dog from. 😘

I can't believe I caught this precious pic of Tia with her paw on Bray saying "Me next?" πŸ₯Ή oh my heart! 😭

08/24/2026

They still love some time with Brayden. Broady would not stop licking him all over his face. Shih tzus are the sweetest. πŸ˜‡

Testing Complete! It is waaayyyy better. Unbelievably better! I could have never sent that many long videos, videos to my families and had my tvs on at the same time AND have them all go through that quick! Amazing!

Long video ....

to see how this fiber internet from empower works with uploading times. They finally ran the fiber lines out here so I'm excited about it! Also in video, I explain why I don't want to show my dogs at pickup. It's really simple. Pickup is " pick-up" Not feildtrip time.

One thing I'd like to add though. When picking up and you bring a friend, parent, minus a husband, that I have not conversed with over the course of weeks or a month, as far as I know they won't be raising the baby you're getting from me, yall dont live together
Sometimes they come in asking me a bunch of questions that I have most likely already talked with you about. Am I suppose to re-explain everything to somebody that isn't going to be raising this baby or living with it? I've had ppl bring a whole group of friends thinking they're going to just walk around my whole house and take a feildtrip.
That is annoying and kinda crosses the boundaries I'm comfortable with.
I've had the tag alongs that aren't getting anything, ask to see the parents, the momma, ect. at pickup when the person actually getting the baby has probably already seen the momma with the newborns nursing at one point in a private message or video. And I'm sure I sent pics of the parents to the person actually getting the baby because that is what I do. Please be mindful when picking up that this is my HOME, my quiet, peaceful place. I have created a low stimulation environment for my son with autism and my dogs. Dylan doesn't like when the dogs get upset and the dogs don't like when Dylan gets upset. This environment I've created with no chaos and loud noises is for the benefit of my family and circumstances surrounding my sons well-being.
I know ppl are so confused when they come in because they expect a bunch of dogs running around barking and a house that smells like p*e. They automatically think "where are the dogs? She must have them all in cages or crates stacked on top of each other? Or they must be in her shed?
Trust me, our shed is crammed full and holds a riding lawnmower. I assure you, there is no room in there for any animals other than a field mouse. 🀣 My dogs are happy, fed, cared for, have a doggie door to come and go as they please and have adapted to the low noise environment I've created for my son with autism. That is why my house is quiet when you come in, my dogs are content because I don't let every stranger that comes in, get them upset, wake my son up, get his nerves rattled because the dogs are rattled.
I'm not going to let ppl with no boundaries mess that up that I've worked hard to achieve.
Right now if they hear somebody come in the front door they'd think it's me, my sons or somebody they trust and know. They think oh, it's Dylan coming in and out the front door at 2pm in the morning because he likes to chill on the front porch.
But if I let every stranger come see them, everytime they hear the front door, they will be on high alert thinking it's a stranger. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Not gonna happen..

We don't like thunderstorms. 😭 Somehow, a few have taught all, that when thunderstorms and lightning starts to happen they have to start barking in unison and howling until I go in there and tell them it's ok. And absolutely no lights off because it makes it scarier with the lightning flashes. When we lose power I have a lantern just for their room. The first 2 pics was earlier in the day, everybody going about the day. The last picture was during. I'm talking to them and telling them it's ok, that they're fine and they're listening intently. πŸ˜‡ after the worst is over I can go back to doing whatever I was doing in the house beforehand, but not until it stops βœ‹οΈ 🀣 Rain is fine though.
