🎉 Cheers to 7 amazing years with Cat at JM Pet Resort & Veterinary Clinic! 🎉

Cat joined our team 7 years ago with an incredible diverse skill set—from being an Animal Control Officer and 911 dispatcher to working as a receptionist/technician. She was searching for the right fit, and we’re so grateful she found it with us!

Cat is most proud of helping our clinic grow in a direction that she truly believes in. Her passion lies in policy and procedure development and employee coaching, constantly striving for efficiency to ensure an exceptional customer service experience. She’s especially proud of the Veterinary Medical Directory, which she created to ensure consistent messaging across the team, showing her deep commitment to the quality of care we provide.

Cat connects with our mission in every way: “Supporting co-workers to be their very best, supporting our clients through all stages of their fur babies’ lives, and making sure we’re all equipped with the knowledge and tools for success. Our mission statement is our compass.”

With a remarkable knack for remembering client names and their pet’s specific needs, Cat demonstrates the personalized care we strive for—building deep relationships with both clients and their furry friends. She’s a vital support to the clinic’s daily operations, and her positive attitude, attention to detail, and even a song or two brighten the day for everyone around.

Is Your Dog Walking You? 🐶🚶‍♂️

Tired of getting dragged down the street? Teaching loose-leash walking makes walks enjoyable and keeps your pup safe! Here’s how to get started:

🐾 Start Small – Practice at home with a drag leash. Reward calm behavior and eye contact. No pulling = more treats!

🐾 Lead the Way – Walk in different directions so your dog learns to follow you. Keep rewards coming!

🐾 Stop & Reset – If they pull, stop. No forward motion until the leash is loose again. Green light = go, tight leash = stop!

🔥 Pro Tip: Try training after playtime—it’s much easier when they’ve burned off some energy!

Consistency is key! Stay patient, reward often, and soon you’ll be walking in sync. 🌟
