McCracken Farms

McCracken Farms McCracken Farms, Home of the Great Pumpkin Patch also has Farm fresh, hand picked, local produce from our family to yours!

McCracken Farms is a multi-generational family farm located on White Road in the town of Sweden, New York. We are dedicated to providing locally-grown, hand harvested produce to our patrons to ensure the freshest high quality produce possible. We offer our produce through a CSA program (Community Supported Agriculture), modeled after successful CSAs throughout the Northeastern United States. This

allows our members to maintain a relationship with the farmers, and support the local farming business. The members would receive freshly picked produce each week throughout the season, and support a local family owned business. We provide our fresh produce by offering them at several local farmers markets and at our road side stands on our farm on White Road. If you are interested in joining our CSA family or just have questions about this wonderful opportunity, feel free to e-mail us at [email protected], visit our website or give us a call at (585) 507-6475

Please share: we only have 1/2 left…

Know what you’re buying. This picture has store beef(right), and farm beef(left). There is an obvious visible difference between the two but the differences don’t stop there!

1. You may notice the color difference in the picture. The store bought is pumped full of additives and preservatives, including propyl gallate, to protect against spoilage due to long term air exposure.

2. There isn’t a guarantee of where that beef came from, OR how many cows are in it.

Yes, it may have the USDA label on it but as long as that animal was packaged in the US, it can be called a Product of the USA.

And yes, the meat in the right package is not from one single cow, rather scraps from multiple cows. It may have come from Argentina, Canada, or Brazil.

3. The beef on the left is fresher, darker and is farm raised beef. It is filled with more nutrients & flavor. The ground is also from one cow and not just low quality scraps from multiple cows.

We're truly humbled by the incredible support we've received from our community in purchasing our beef. Your unwavering support enables us to make a meaningful difference, and we're proud to donate a quarter cow to the veterans homeless shelter in Spencerpoet. Building on the success of last year's donation of a cow and a half, we're eager to continue paying it forward and making an even greater impact in time for the holidays.
