Remember with this hot weather, keep an eye on your pets and limit their time in the heat!
Heat Stroke - hyperthermia, severe elevation in body temperature (104.9 F - 109.4 F)
Heat Stroke can happen in less than 30 minutes during high temperatures and humidity levels.
Symptoms:

Bright red gums
Hyper Salivation (increased saliva production)
Collapse
Ataxia, incoordination
Seizures

If you notice any of these symptoms, it is important to get your pet to a cool / shaded area and offer cool (not cold) water. Get to a veterinarian as soon as possible for further treatment and stabilization if needed.
Do not cool your pet down too quickly
Do not use ice or freezing water
Prevention:
Avoid taking your pet outdoors during the hottest part of the day
Take cool water on walks and offer frequently
Keep your pet inside with cool temperatures
Do not leave your pet inside a closed car during hot temperatures
