We build a Goats Milk Beef Tallow Bar that is a very well-balanced, high-quality! Letβs break down why:
---
β
Why our Soap Recipe is Good
𧴠1. Cleansing & Conditioning Balance:
Coconut Oil ( 22%) gives great cleansing and bubbly lather.
Olive Oil ( 22%) adds gentle conditioning and creates a hard, long-lasting bar.
Beef Tallow (44%) adds hardness, creaminess, and a silky feel. Great for old-school, traditional soap.
Castor Oil (12%) supercharges lather (both creamy and bubbly) and adds a silky texture.
> π‘ Most soapmakers aim for 15β25% coconut oil to avoid drying β we are right in that sweet spot.
---
π§Ό 2. Hardness & Longevity:
Tallow and Coconut oil make a very hard bar that will last a long time in the shower β not a mushy mess.
---
π§ 3. Skin Feel & Moisture:
4β5% superfat (our recipe is at ~4%) Means:
The soap is safe and wonβt strip your skin.
Still enough fat left to nourish and protect.
Goat milk adds:
Creamy lather
Natural lactic acid (mild exfoliation)
Moisturizing and skin-soothing properties
---
πΏ 4. Essential Oils:
Depending on our blend, this will give it a therapeutic, natural scent and skin benefits.
