If you have an appointment this week of the 14th - the 18 we will have to reschedule as I became quite ill Friday night and either have very bad bronchitis or pneumonia. As long as I keep still I am ok. But moving around and trying to get anything done just is not possible as I can’t breathe and i become very dizzy I’m so sorry for the inconvenience but this is one of those times I must take care of myself first. I ask for your patience and understanding for this week and will be getting in touch with everyone that had/has appointments this week so we can reschedule. Thank you all.

Appalachia was never prepared for this.

I’m sharing in hopes to raise more awareness and also to encourage any type of support that can be provided to appalachians.

The communities I have been a part of and the greater Appalachian region have been devastated by Hurricane Helene.

Entire towns have essentially just been washed away. So many people have lost everything they had, some even losing loved ones.

There was simply no way to prepare for something this massive and destructive. Was this a once in a lifetime storm? Who knows. But, I know Appalachians are grieving and coming together like never before, and I hope that our friends and family around the world will be able to offer whatever they can. Whether it’s donations or simply a shoulder to cry on.

We will be taking donations of food and cat litter for the Sullivan County Animal Shelter. Canned food , dry food, bedding… anything would be greatly appreciated!!! Let’s help out these precious babies!!!

Since the Sullivan County Animal Shelter just took in the animals from The Unicoi Shelter we will be accepting donations on their behalf.

You can drop items off Tuesday-Saturday from 11-7 at 5340 Memorial Blvd.

If we do not have the donation box set up yet, just let an employee know and we will get the items and put in our back room.

Below is a list of needed items but anything would be appreciated.

Heartbreaking 💔 Rainbow Bridge in North Carolina was washed away .
The Rainbow Bridge is located at the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge in North Carolina. Specifically, it's part of the Flowering Bridge garden that spans the Rocky Broad River, connecting Lake Lure and Chimney Rock.

The Rainbow Bridge is a special section within the garden where visitors can leave collars, tags, and other mementos to honor and remember their beloved pets who have passed away.
