My Border Collie Churro
I can’t say enough about this dog
Churro is very versatile
He works all types of livestock cattle, sheep, goats and ducks
Main working farm dog and herding demonstration dog
Excellent disposition, extremely athletic, great mind for training and always a pleasure to work

My young Belgium Malinois Toro
Malinois are very complexed
Brilliant dogs that are loyal and will die for you but they are a puzzle to train
Toro is doing extremely well
Full advanced obedience using German Commands and will be paired with My Pattie for demonstrations
Very proud of him

The most impressive part of this is the the Standard Poodle is bred for bird retrieval so being a retriever they are bred to be soft mouth as to not damage the birds while carrying to handler
Notice in the pictures how Patti has a full hard grip
A full confident grip is needed in protection work
I also have my Belgium Malanois Toro that I am training for protection work
He is natural hard biting dog as is a breed characteristic
Very excited for the both
I have trained Patti in full French commands to advanced level obedience and Toro in German to full advanced obedience
The goal been to do demonstrations with the two together

Having worked with many different dogs while being employed as a Patrol dog handler and trainer with the Virginia State Police I have never seen a Poodle do any type of bite work
I got Patti as a young puppy and raised her to be strong and stable
She is being fully trained in advanced obedience using French Commands
With my current health issues I don’t have much endurance but I have been very excited to train Patti for personal protection work
I have done foundation work with toys and rugs but today was first introduction to the bite sleeve
