"The Horsemans Mission Makeover Challenge "

The excitement is building as the Horseman’s Mission Makeover Challenge approaches!! On May 9th, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., Triple R Stables @ 3739 Township Road 154 Millersburg, OH comes alive with anticipation, determination, and the spirit of true horsemanship.

Five 3 year old Quarter Horse Geldings, halter broke but otherwise untouched, step into the spotlight as they are auctioned off to trainers ready to take on the challenge.Plan to attend or call Ray Raber @ 330-275-2877 to register for a phone bid if you can't be present. Each c**t is backed by a feed sponsor for the next five months, giving trainers the support they need to shape raw potential into something extraordinary. For these up-and-coming trainers, this is more than a competition—it’s their moment to rise.
Day by day, trust is built. Confidence grows. Trainers pour their time and heart into their c**ts, turning uncertainty into partnership through long hours and small victories.

By October, the transformation takes center stage. During the Horsemans Mission event, each team will enter a Ranch/Trail class competition, where horsemanship and the horse’s confidence are put to the test. New for this year, they will also be judged on overall confirmation. The stakes are high—$2,500 for first place, $1,250 for second, and $750 for third—but the real reward is the journey that brought them there.

These c**ts will then also be offered for sale at the Horsemans Mission Select Sale Saturday October 17th...each one a powerful reflection of dedication, patience, and the art of horsemanship.

Good Friday.

Good for who?
It certainly wasn’t a good day for the man named Jesus, who hung on that cross and died a terrible death.

But Jesus Christ, Our Lord & Savior, died that death for us, you & me, everyone who chooses to believe.

I sometimes think about what Jesus’s mother, father, family, and friends had to endure as they watched their friend, son & now Savior die for all the people who despised him.

Imagine that for a moment- your son, your friend, willing to die the most painful death imaginable so that we can All be Saved. Watching that sacrifice had to be enough to nearly break any normal human being, let alone those closest to him.

I think we sometimes think of this gift of salvation as a story, and while yes, it is in the best book ever written, this happened, this Friday really happened, blood was shed for you and me.

We at Hay Chix pray that this Friday is truly Good for you because you know the truth and have chosen Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior.

If there were ever a time we all needed the promise of something better, it’s now, and it’s your choice. We pray you choose to believe that Good is coming, Son~Day is coming, and when He makes His next appearance, I’m certain you’ll want to be ready…
