OUR MISSION: To create and support the bond between animals and people in our community.

HTAT is a cageless adoption center for adult cats & kittens offering free TNR & cat behavior help, a pet food pantry & a spay/neuter program to residents in Brimfield, Holland, Palmer, Monson, Southbridge, Sturbridge, Wales, Ware & Warren, MA. WHO WE ARE:
Here Today Adopted Tomorrow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-driven group focused on creating and supporting the bond between animals and

people in our community. WHAT WE DO:
HTAT operates a cage-free cat shelter in Brimfield, MA, and has several community assistance programs to help families keep their pets. We run a Pet Food Pantry, help people find and pay for spay/neuter surgeries for their pets, and help adopters of special-needs cats pay for their cats' medical treatments. We partner with fellow community members to maintain healthy outdoor cat populations by humanely trapping community cats, spaying or neutering them, and then returning them to their outdoor home. WHY WE DO IT:
We believe that pets are family, and we want to keep families together.

HTAT’s Pet Food Pantry helps people in the community feed their cats and dogs with weekend pick-up locations in Brimfield and Ware. If you’re experiencing food insecurity or a temporary financial setback, we’re here to make sure your pets stay fed and stay with you—right where they belong. The next pet food pantry pick up will be on 5/9.

Leif is an adorable shadow with a big personality and an even bigger sense of adventure. This adorable black kitten is always on the move: chasing toys, exploring every new corner, and finding creative ways to entertain himself. Whether he’s batting around a wand toy, mouse, or ball, Leif keeps the fun going nonstop! 🥰

At first, indoor life wasn’t exactly his idea of paradise. But after a couple of weeks soaking up the love from our staff and volunteers, Leif has had a complete change of heart. Now, he’s all about cozy naps, gentle snuggles, and the comforts of a safe, warm home.

This playful boy has truly blossomed and is ready to bring joy, laughter, and a little excitement into your world. Come meet Leif during our open adoption hours today from 1-4 PM. You just might fall in love! 🖤

🌲 Nature’s sweetest companions await! 🌲

Juniper and Cedar are two beautiful cats who mysteriously showed up one day and decided people were their thing. Found together at a kind stranger’s home, they were immediately friendly—no hesitation, no fear, just looking for a good scratch on the head! Whatever their past held, it’s clear they knew kindness somewhere along the way.

Since arriving at HTAT, they’ve settled in like pros. While some cats need time to adjust, Juniper and Cedar are already exploring, lounging, and making new friends. They’re easygoing with other cats and always happy to soak up pets from anyone nearby. 🌿

Friendly, chill, and absolutely gorgeous…what more could you ask for? 💚 If you’re looking for a new companion or two, come meet Juniper and Cedar tomorrow during open adoption hours from 1–4pm!

Tigger is the kind of cat you can’t help but love. A sweet stray with big tomcat cheeks, he leans into every gentle touch like he’s been waiting for it his whole life. But watch him walk, and you’ll notice something isn’t quite right. Each step is slow, careful. Planned.

Tigger has been living with a painful skin disease called pillow foot. This condition causes his paw pads to become swollen, tender, and prone to cracking. For a cat, that makes even the simplest things (like walking to his food bowl or coming over for a little love) uncomfortable.

He’s now on antibiotics and steroids, and already starting to feel some relief. But pillow foot can't be cured, just managed. Right now, his paws are still too damaged for him to be adopted or neutered. Until then, Tigger needs time, ongoing care, and a safe place to rest.

This weekend, there's a special way you can help support the cats at HTAT while taking care of your own furry pals! 💛

Kim from Kim's Cat Grooming and our friends at are hosting a monthly nail trim event on Sunday, May 3rd from 10am–12pm. They’ll be offering nail trims for cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs—and half of all cat nail trim proceeds will be donated to HTAT!

Allie (aka “Allie Cat”) is a striking little lady with a story that started with sudden change. When her previous family could no longer care for her, Allie found herself at HTAT, taking in a whole new world. She’s still figuring things out, but each day brings a little more curiosity and a little more confidence.

With her long, bushy tail and alert expression, Allie looks just like a tiny fox. Not sure where to start looking? She’ll be perched in her favorite spot, up on the highest level of her cat tree. From there, she keeps a watchful eye on everything around her, quietly observing the rhythms of shelter life. 👀

Allie may be unsure about lots of snuggles and pets right now, but we know one thing for sure: snacks are the way to her heart. Wet food, crunchy treats, a Churu…they all help her see that maybe things aren’t so scary after all. If you’d like to meet Allie, email [email protected]. 🐈

Meet Fig, a handsome black-and-white gentleman ready for a fresh start. At eight years old, he carries himself with a calm, “old soul” kind of charm. He’s the type of cat who seems to understand the value of a quiet afternoon and a cozy place to land.

In his previous home, Fig had some trouble getting along with other pets, but here at HTAT, he’s been nothing short of an angel. He’s especially fond of people and loves to keep you company while you work, often curling up beside your computer to snooze in the warmth. Fig seems happiest when he can simply be near you, sharing in the calm of your day. 🍐

🍰 Double the dessert, double the personality! 🍰

Life feels a little sweeter with Sponge Cake and Tiramisu around. These two tabbies came to HTAT together last week, and they’ve been leaning on each other ever since. Now, they’re ready to find a new home where they can bring a little extra comfort and sweetness.

Both Sponge Cake and Tiramisu have experience as indoor-outdoor cats, so they’d be comfortable with either lifestyle. Since they’re new arrivals, we’re still learning about who they are. They’re friendly with people and more than happy to soak up attention from you—but when it comes to other cats, they’re still figuring things out.

Berry is a quiet survivor with a story to tell. This reserved girl came to HTAT for quarantine after being found outside with a mystery wound. When a cat’s injury can’t be explained, they must spend four months away from people and other cats to ensure they’re healthy and safe. For a cat with little experience around humans, it was an especially isolating start. But Berry made it through, and now she’s ready for a new beginning.

Berry is just one of HTAT’s “Spirit Cats.” She enjoys the comfort of indoor life and happily coexists with her feline friends, but prefers to keep her distance from people. Move too quickly, and she’ll let you know she needs space. Still, she has one soft spot: treats. Whether it’s a squeeze tube or a crunchy snack, Berry will cautiously accept a peace offering and share a quiet moment.
