HTAT is a cageless adoption center for adult cats & kittens offering free TNR & cat behavior help, a pet food pantry & a spay/neuter program to residents in Brimfield, Holland, Palmer, Monson, Southbridge, Sturbridge, Wales, Ware & Warren, MA. WHO WE ARE:
Here Today Adopted Tomorrow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-driven group focused on creating and supporting the bond between animals and

people in our community. WHAT WE DO:
HTAT operates a cage-free cat shelter in Brimfield, MA, and has several community assistance programs to help families keep their pets. We run a Pet Food Pantry, help people find and pay for spay/neuter surgeries for their pets, and help adopters of special-needs cats pay for their cats' medical treatments. We partner with fellow community members to maintain healthy outdoor cat populations by humanely trapping community cats, spaying or neutering them, and then returning them to their outdoor home. WHY WE DO IT:
We believe that pets are family, and we want to keep families together.

Jeremy has been passed over time and time again—not because he’s not sweet, not because he’s not loving, but because of a stomach issue he’s recovering from.

Back in April, Jeremy had a bout of an upset stomach and needed to be switched to sensitive prescription food. It was supposed to be a short-term thing, but when he came to us, he was still on the sensitive stomach food, even though it was meant to be temporary. Some people hesitated when they saw the price of the food, and it’s made finding him a home so much harder. It’s not his fault.

Jeremy has been looking for a family since April—first at TJO for two months and now at HTAT. In that time, he’s stolen the hearts of staff and volunteers, climbing into laps whenever he can and charming everyone with his affectionate, silly personality.

We believe Jeremy is worth it. HTAT will be here to help his future family with his transition, offering support both financially and emotionally as he continues to settle in. He’s affectionate, goofy, full of zoomies, and always ready for cuddles—anyone would be lucky to have him.

After surviving a year outdoors and raising two litters of kittens, this strong mama is finally getting her turn to be cared for. 💔 The Truth About Saving a Kitten Like Tennyson 💔
Tennyson is a playful bundle of mischief and purrs—the kind of kitten you fall in love with instantly. But what most don’t see is the real cost of giving him a future.

Tennyson is cryptorchid—one his testicles hasn't descended normally. Most cryptorchid kittens can be neutered in one simple surgery. But Tennyson’s testicle was so deeply hidden that the vet couldn’t safely locate it during his procedure. They had to close him up and wait until he’s older and stronger for a second, more invasive surgery that will require extra care, monitoring, and recovery.

💔 It’s a lot for such a tiny body—and it’s a lot for a small shelter like ours.

Hi, I’m Prince. I’ve been at Here Today Adopted Tomorrow since June.
Every week, I watch another one of my friends leave with a new family—off to start their happily ever after. I am so happy for them! But I can’t help wondering:
When is it going to be my turn?
I’m only a year old, full of life and love. I do all the right cat things—chasing toys, zooming through the room like a tiny panther, and soaking up every sunbeam I can find. My fur is sleek and black like midnight, and my eyes? They’re golden-green and always full of curiosity.
When playtime’s over, I’m all about the cuddles. I love people. I love love. I’m the kind of cat who gives his whole heart without holding back.
And listen—I’m a total foodie. 🍽️ Got wet food? I’m yours forever. My happy little munching noises could melt even the toughest heart.
People say black cats like me get overlooked. Maybe that’s true. But I promise, if you give me a chance, I’ll show you just how special I am. I’ve been waiting so patiently, watching other cats find their homes, believing—hoping—that one day, someone will see me and say,

🐾Fee Waived for Lilly — Our Longest Resident 🐾

Lilly has been with us at the HTAT shelter for 2.5 months—longer than any other cat—and we’ve waived her adoption fee to give her the best chance at finding a new beginning.

She’s 12 years old and has outlived not one, but two beloved owners. Losing them both wasn’t just hard—it left her unsure of the world. Now she’s trying to find her footing in a place that’s safe, but not yet home.

Lilly loves the company of other cats and spends her days quietly watching the world go by from a sunny window—or tucked into one of her favorite hidden corners, where she feels safe. With people, she’s cautious. She may never want to be petted, but she finds quiet comfort in simply being near someone who understands her pace.

If you have a peaceful home and a heart that knows love doesn’t have to be loud, Lilly might be waiting for you.

Because not all love is loud—some of it is quiet and steady.
