Throw back to the New England Street Tactics seminar. Over 60 K9 teams participated and became better. Nothing beats scenario based training with great instructors and decoys willing to bring the heat.

High Drive. Clear Heads. Real work. Detection dogs doing what they are bred and trained to do - hunt, problem solve, and work with intensity. This is the standard.

Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy every day, and their courage will never be forgotten.

At Complete Canine Training, we are especially grateful for the military members, law enforcement officers, and working dog teams who continue to serve with honor and dedication.

This Memorial Day, we remember the fallen, honor their families, and give thanks for the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.

This little one is loose on N 6th and Denver in Brighton. We can’t get close enough to him. If you know who he belongs to, please pass the word out!

Tone recall practice for dogs is training your dog to come back to you when they hear a specific sound or tone, usually from an e-collar, whistle, clicker, or verbal cue.
The goal is to make the tone a positive “come to me” signal. During training, the dog learns:
Tone = return to handler
Returning = reward (treats, praise, toy, etc.)
For example, with an e-collar:
The trainer presses the tone button.
The dog is guided or encouraged to come back.
The dog gets rewarded when they return.
Repetition builds the association.
Over time, many dogs will respond to the tone alone without needing leash pressure or stimulation.
Tone recall is commonly used in:
Off-leash training
Hunting and working dogs
Obedience training
Safety recalls in open areas
It’s different from correction-based use of an e-collar because the tone itself is usually conditioned as a neutral or positive cue, not a punishment.
Drop a 🎯 if recall is your current training focus.

A little behind-the-scenes look at Bunker’s training journey today! 🦮
We hit the stores for some serious distraction training. The goal? Keeping those stationary commands locked in, no matter what is moving around him. He stayed grounded, kept his eyes on the prize (and the treats!), and proved that hard work pays off.
Drop a 🐾 in the comments to give Bunker some love for being such a good student!

🚨 URGENT: Help Keep 512 Children Safe, Fed, and in School 🚨
Donate link in bio!

At Eldema Letap Academy in Kenya, rising fuel and food costs are putting hundreds of children at risk.

The school serves 512 learners, many from remote areas where walking to school is unsafe. School buses and daily meals are not luxuries here — they are lifelines.

But recent inflation has created a massive funding gap:
🛢 Fuel costs increased by 41%
🍲 Feeding costs increased for every child
📉 Annual shortfall: $11,479 USD

Without support, the school may be forced to:
❌ Stop school transportation
❌ End feeding programs
❌ Leave vulnerable children at risk of dropping out, child labor, early marriage, and hunger

There are also 68 orphaned and vulnerable children attending completely tuition-free.

Every donation helps:
✅ Keep buses running
✅ Provide daily meals
✅ Keep children safe and learning

Ways to help:
💛 Sponsor a child for a year: $295
💛 Help cover fuel & food costs
💛 Share this post to spread awareness

If you would like to donate or sponsor a child, please DM us directly for donation details.

Together, we can keep these children in school, safe, and hopeful for their future.
