Threshold work is an important way to build structure and patience with your dog.
Before going through a door, have your dog sit and wait calmly while you open it. The door only becomes an invitation when you allow them through. This teaches respect for boundaries and prevents through every doorway. Small exercises like this make a big difference in everyday life.

Attended a defensive handling seminar this weekend lead by Jay Jack and volunteered for decoy work for the first time. Definitely learned a lot from the experience.

Puppy training with Jerry. One of the best ways to engage a puppy is through their nose. Food is a powerful motivator for puppies, which makes training fun and rewarding. The earlier training starts, the better. Puppies are constantly learning whether we are intentionally teaching them or not.
