Thumpin' Buns Rabbitry Raising Rex and French Lops to the ARBA standard of perfection as a family. We really enjoy attending rabbit shows as a family.

We are focusing one Black, Blue, Chocolate, Otters, Chinchilla, Lynx and Amber varieties and maybe more in the future.

Today we processed 31 rabbits. Its bitter sweet as its a door closing of the old as we transform into the new. Just like the butterfly. Walking the rabbitry where once were loved rabbits are empty and no noise of toys banging into the water. Im sure proud of these kids. They were there from start to finish and got their hand in and helped. Good news only got 3 cuts from the knife. If you know me even processing longhorns or bison I always cut myself like I try to get battle scars.

So excited for these chins to grow bigger!

Whoo 11 off the feed bill but just add 9 sweet little hippos. Tomorrow 17 more will be off the feed bill. It feels good to start getting some empty cages and though we will miss some breeding does we can only look forward. These litters will be the start of something new.
