🚜🌾 Harvest Season is Here, Maryland! 🌾🚜

With fall harvest underway, you may see more farm vehicles and slow-moving equipment on our roads. These vehicles may travel well below the posted speed limits— often between 5 and 15 mph.

✅ Be Patient: Give farm equipment plenty of space. These large machines can take longer to maneuver, and sudden stops or turns may occur.
✅ Pass Safely: Only pass farm equipment on straight stretches of road with clear visibility and no oncoming traffic.
✅ Watch for Wide Turns: Farm equipment often needs extra room to make wide turns. Always watch for hand signals or indicators that a farmer may be preparing to turn.

Let’s work together to ensure a safe harvest season for everyone on the road!
