🌊 Diving Dogs at Sunshine Dog Park Presents: The Dive Dog Derby Summer Fun Show Series! 🐾
We are beyond excited to announce our 2026 Summer Dive Dog Derby Fun Show Series! This is a non-AKC event designed purely for fun, friendly competition, and giving dogs of all levels a place to shine on the dock.
Whether you’re a seasoned dock diver or brand new to the sport, we have classes for everyone!

And we’re especially excited to introduce a new addition:
🐕 Ramp Dogs Speed Retrieve – a special class designed for dogs who may not be comfortable jumping off the dock yet. They’ll run down the ramp and retrieve for time, so every dog can join the action!

This will be a 5-show series, with points accumulating throughout the season toward our End-of-Series Awards!

⏱ Session Schedule
We will run the day in scheduled sessions:
• Session 1 – 9:00 AM
• Session 2 – 10:30 AM
• Session 3 – 12:30 PM
• Session 4 – 2:00 PM
• 30 dogs per session
• 2 jumps per session (back-to-back)
• Competitors may enter additional sessions for more jumps
🚫 No practice jumps during competition sessions
🏊 Mobile pool practice wristbands will be available for purchase

📊 Series Points System
Points will accumulate across the entire series for end-of-season awards.
Example (Distance Jump):
If your dog jumps 15 ft and 14.5 ft, your total for that event would be 29.5 points.
These points accumulate throughout the season, and the highest scoring dogs in each class will earn series placements and awards!
