Randi Garrett, Owner, Founder and Lead Trainer of Rockin' Dog Training Academy, LLC. Has been an animal lover all her life. As a young child, Randi would set up obsticle courses and teach her Dalmatian, "Whizzer" how to go through them. Randi always knew she
wanted a career working with animals, her Junior and Senior of high school she vollenteered at a wild life sanctuary specializing in Big Cats. Then worked as a Veterinary Technician for over 5 years. Randi had such a way with animals, especially dogs, that when the dogs marked "unfriendly" would come in, clients would ask for her. What started it all professionaly for Randi, She got a beautiful, black, male Great Dane who she named Diesel. Diesel grew into a very large protective boy, very fast. She realized that she needed to have Diesel trained. Randi saught a professional Trainer who then taught her how to work with Diesel. Over the years, Randi worked with Diesel on Obediance, Agility and Bitework! Randi also did an extensive Internship with a Professional Dog Training company. Now she has over a decade of experience in Professional Dog Training where she has enjoyed helping countless people and dogs to build the relationship they were striving for. Each year Randi takes part in continuing her education with siminars and hands on workshops. She has expereance in training Service Dogs for Veterans with P.T.S.D., Seizure Alert/Response, Diabetic Alert, Mobility Support and Hearing Alert Service Dogs. Gino, the Black and Tan Labrador Retriver, the cover photo, is now retired... She now has Riddick who is a Black w/white Great Dane (SD) and Ragnar, who is the son of Riddick, a Harlequin Great Dane (SDiT) Riddick is already trained and Ragnar is in Training to akert her for her Seizures, Mobility Support, when necessary and with Hearing Alert! Randi is a member of Lonestar K9 Performance Club where her and her Cane Corso, Drogo (Brindle boy, also pictured in cover photo) competed in Nosework. She has worked with Working Dogs of Tejas with Bitework and continued to show Drogo in the United Kennel Club Confirmation show ring, through to hos Championship Title. Drogo has been retired. Randi has huge plans for the future of Rockin' Dog Training Academy. At the moment her and the staff offer Behavior Modification, Personal Lessons, Board and Train options, Boarding: both short and long term, Group Classes & Pack Walks.
