📍Fairfield County, CT - 3 Little Piggies in urgent need of a loving forever home 🏡 ‼️‼️

Three best friends, each 5 years old must find a home by Saturday morning.

They’ve been well-cared for and loved but unfortunately they’ve lost their home. They’ve been handled by adults and kids and do very well together.

GP’s tend to be happiest in same s*x pairs. But here you’ll get a bonus gal!

There is no fee to adopt but you will to fill out an application (yes, we know it’s geared toward dog adoption so please adjust your answers accordingly!)

They are located in Norwalk, CT but adoption can be anywhere.

The Oreo story! Once again, grateful to everyone who got involved and helped BARC CT (and our volunteer) along the way. Even the random woman in the pet supply shop in Deerfield Beach FL who bursted into tears when she saw our volunteer struggling to carry sweet Oreo and said, “I swear to god I will never forget this moment. I’m going to adopt the oldest or most in need dog from the shelter this weekend in Oreo’s honor.”

Seeing it in real time, allowing yourself to process the painful stories, choosing to become an advocate or foster or supporter of your local rescue or shelter MATTERS! You don’t need a group or team behind you. Just get up and get out there and help!

Again, a very special thank you to Vintage Pet Rescue for all the support and for taking Oreo so he can receive the best care specific to his needs!!!

🎉🎉🎉 Miss Polly Pocket was adopted this weekend!

📍CT- We’re thrilled for her awesome new forever family!! Very grateful for Polly’s support system & the BARC volunteer team—including Polly’s amazing foster family, the Ki family, for all they’ve done for our sweet girl!!
Jennifer Ki and her husband continue to go above and beyond to help whenever needed! Wonderful humans do exist. . . !

Since we’re getting so many emails from kind and curious souls praying for Oreo, we wanted to give you the latest….

Our sweetest boy had an adventurous day with our volunteer (leading to a missed flight & hotel change 😵‍💫🙈😂) but nothing was gonna stop us from getting him Safe and sound.

In an off chance arrangement, a VPR rep was able to meet up with a BARC rep in the middle of the night—literally 🤯 and we’re happy to say Oreo is doing great (and our volunteer found a flight ✈️ back today).

We can’t wait for more progress pics and updates as we follow along with Oreo on his journey!

UPDATE: SAFE!🎉🎉🎉 Oreo, the paralyzed sweet boy we shared earlier is officially SAFE and sound— and loving 1 3 new toys, treats and blankets from a local pet supply. He truly cannot walk, it’s hard to watch because we feel helpless . He’s asleep now on a very cozy hotel bed and, if all goes well, will fly home with the BARC volunteer who rescued him. Vintage Pet and their wonderful vet will meet us with Oreo at the airport in East Haven tomorrow night to take him home and get him started with veterinary therapeutic intervention!

So exciting. This is one very special boy.

****UPDATE - we are in contact and hope to have Oreo in the care of our volunteer within the next couple of hours🙏🙏🙏

****THANK YOU Vintage Pet Rescue !!! We are working together as a team to get Oreo safe and then into their extraordinary care right away. Oreo needs vet care & a neurologist STAT!!!! WE are SO grateful for everyone who’s offered hope, help,,And support ❤️🙏❤️🙏 especially Kristen at VPR

‼️Hey all, it’s 11pm, Tuesday night. One of volunteers saw an add for a “Used Paralyzed Dog, $100” must be picked up Wednesday. **please not this case is not in CT but our volunteer is away for a business trip & working hard to get the doggy.

The video broke us. The story is killing us.

The volunteer is willing to pay to get this little doggy saftey back to CT and BARC will cover all costs to see a vet specialist right away.

So far we know he’s not old, he’s very quiet and very sweet. Just wants to know he’s safe. He has vaccines. Unclear if neutered (but BARC will get that done)

The dog has been GOOD with other dogs and cat according to original owner. No other known issues.
