PICK UP END OF DAY, unfortunately we are beyond inundated but trying—-Betsy’s already run out of time. ⌛️ 😢 This is a courtesy post for Betsy’s owner who’s struggling with illness, has many other pets in the home & and cannot keep Betsy beyond today, Tuesday Dec 9. Yes, she is scheduled for euthanasia because that’s the most humane option for dogs with no place to go.

Please use the Private Adoption Application which is sent to the owner.

Betsy is such a sweetheart with all humans, and she’s fine on a leash walking by or near dogs. However she doesn’t know how to share her space with other dogs or cats, so she must be adopted to a home with no pets. Please do not apply if you have other dogs living in your home.

There NO FEE to adopt Betsy and save her life. Apply immediately !!

There is no temporary or foster option, the owner is seeking a permanent home only.

RIP to two of the THOUSANDS of young, happy, perfectly behaved, well trained, dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly, loving little angels that trembled as they walked to their death wondering what they did wrong, frantically looking around the room for their owner—the same human who betrayed them.
This is happening EVERY DAY in EVERY STATE (yes, inclduing Connecticut—NY and other states are just honest about it.

Saddest little land hippocampus, she needs urgent veterinary care. Check out those raw and painful paws 😞 BARC needs to take her IMMEDIATELY because she’s got a euthanasia date scheduled for this week (due to owners inability to afford vet care needed) but we’ve asked them to pause while we attempt to find a foster.

What we know: very sweet. in a lot of pain.

Crate trained, very sweet. Lived with multiple small breed dogs. We do not have any info regarding cats. Lived with kids but BARC is not permitted to place any dogs in home with kids. 16+ is usually acceptable. 65ish lbs and about 3 years old.

If you apply to foster and you’ve never fostered for us before, please review the DECOMPRESSION because it’s required and = smooth transition for all! We will cover all expenses while she’s in foster care including food, and a loaner crate, etc. We cover all vet care and will arrange transport. Please hurry we only have a day or so. Thanks

Sweetheart Sully is a 90lbs male lMastiff x Labrador 😍 about 4 years old. He loves everyone! What a darling boy—he’s a favorite at the vet and anywhere he goes! Sully loves going outside (yes, even in the cold 🥶) and sniffing around or playing fetch with a tennis ball 🎾 or a rope toy 🧸

This big hunk deserves the world 🌍 and we plan to find him a family dedicated to providing him exactly that! 🥰

Sully is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and THRIVING! Ready for L-O-V-E

Sully would love to go but we understand you might have plans, please don’t let that deter you from applying. If approved for Sully we’ll make sure to work around your ideal timeline.

Sully has not been around cats while in foster care but while outside he does not seem to be fazed by small animals and wild critters.

Sully previously lived with two senior chihuahuas. Since in our care, he’s been uninterested and relaxed around other dogs he’s met while out on walks, etc.

Sully would love to be your (BIG) shadow and truly enjoys being a companion to his human(s). He’s housebroken and crate trained.

🐷🐖🐽 Pink Dog Lovers, her eyes say so much 🥺🥺🥺

📍CT - Beautiful Willow needs a loving forever home ASAP, PLEASE SHARE THIS POST 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Willow has been very friendly with everyone she has met. She is under two years of age and 70 lbs. (she will grow bigger). She such a sweet girl 💕 and tolerates dogs (always supervised of course), loves belly rubs, and can live indoors or outdoors with appropriate shelter. She does well with chickens. 🐓 She is crate trained and has not had any accidents the home. She will go outside to do her business—-you know piggys are far more intelligent than dogs, right? ✨

Happy Monday! for Blue, the 9 yr old senior BARC shared over the weekend. We had less than one day to save his life and find his forever home. Safe to say, we did it—-because of YOUR help!!! You shared his post and look at the result!!! Blue’s landed the best home and he’ll never look back! Happy life big guy!! ❤️❤️❤️

Everybody remembers the heartbreaking 💔 story about Cassie’s rescue. But that’s all behind her now and the best days are ahead!!

Cassie is a beautiful, gentle, intelligent, pure soul who desperately wants LOVE ❤️

Cassie is around 4 years old. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and healthy—ready to live her best life✨❣️✨❣️✨

Cassie would love a home that’s on the low-key side. She’s seems to be just fine with other dogs, especially dogs that know to be respectful of space. After all she’s been through the last thing this angel needs is a dog sniffing her areas and wanting to hump, etc. 🐕 Cats unknown 🐈

She’s loves to hang by the fireplace & listen to the TV🔥 She loves treats that she can take her time on. She’s very quiet!! She loves going for hikes and walks or a car ride.

Thanks to -on K9 Training in Fairfield County, Cassie’s corrective-collar trained so she’s a breeze on a leash (the way all bully breeds should be trained!) 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons 🤡 has vetoed an ordinance passed by the city's Board of Representatives that would ban the sale of cats and dogs in pet stores.

"Pet shops are licensed by the State of Connecticut and state law permits the sale of dogs and cats by licensed pet shops. As mayor, my obligation is to follow the law. Signing this ordinance would be a symbolic act and cannot be enforced under current state law,"

In case you missed it, she ran on this direct quote: [I am] honored to be the Mayor of Stamford….with the goal of making Stamford a more equitable, inclusive, affordable.

Anybody know why they’re always so “inclusive” until it’s time to include pets and responsible tax-paying pet owners?
