While it is with much gratitude that I am becoming the new owner of Posh Paws in Fairfield, I’d like to clarify a few things.

The Barking Lot and Posh Paws WILL NOT be merging.

Each salon will continue at their designated location as they always have, separate but with much respect for each other.

Both salons have a valued team that will continue to serve their clients with the same quality, love and care as always.

Transparency with all of my valued clients is most important. Please reach out to me directly with any questions or concerns.

After pouring my heart and soul into Posh Paws for so many years, making the decision to pass this business on was one of the most emotional and important decisions of my life. Posh Paws has never just been a grooming salon to me — it has been my passion, my second home, and a place built on love, trust, loyalty, and relationships that will stay with me forever.

That is why finding the right person mattered more to me than anything else. I am incredibly proud and honored to announce that Amy, owner of The Barking Lot, will officially be the new owner of Posh Paws.

Amy brings over 30 years of grooming experience and 24 years of successfully owning and operating an amazing business. Her knowledge, professionalism, leadership, and dedication to this industry are truly exceptional. But beyond all of her accomplishments, what stood out to me most was her heart. She is compassionate, genuine, hardworking, and deeply cares about the animals and people she serves every single day.

From the very beginning, I knew she was someone I could trust with everything Posh Paws represents. I truly could not have asked for a better person to continue the legacy of this salon. Knowing that Posh Paws will continue to thrive under someone with such experience, integrity, and love for this profession gives me incredible peace and excitement for the future.

I am also incredibly happy to share that Heather, Yulianna, and Vivianna will all remain part of the amazing Posh Paws family and continue providing the love and care that our clients know and trust. Vivianna will be taking a short maternity leave beginning in May, but she is excited to return back to the salon afterward. Having this wonderful team continue alongside Amy makes this transition even more special and comforting for all of us.

To all of our loyal clients — thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives and trusting me with your beloved pets throughout the years. Your support, friendships, and memories will forever mean the world to me. And as emotional as this transition is, I am genuinely excited for all of you to meet and grow with Amy, because I know without a doubt that you and your dogs are in amazing hands.

This is not an ending — it is the beginning of a beautiful new chapter for Posh Paws ❤️🐾 June 1st
