The power steering pump is out on my truck and i can’t get parts in until next week. Usually id just drive it, but in my truck that also means i don’t have brakes because they run vacuum off the ps pump. If you were scheduled this weekend expect a cancellation message by the end of the day. I apologize for any inconvenience!

I really shouldn’t even have to post this…..

This will be the last year clients tell me “I’ll see you next spring” after pulling shoes and starting the first of the year I’m going to be letting clients go that won’t stay on schedule.

I know I’ve made mistakes in the past with scheduling and I’m working hard to correct the issues on my side. I’ve been far more accommodating than other farriers would ever consider being over all and from a business perspective i can’t continue to scramble routes every time I’m in an area because “x” happened this time.

My schedule is how i pay my bills. This isn’t a part time gig, i don’t have a second job, and i won’t get one. I’m understanding and will still reschedule for legitimate reasons and timely notice, but im too busy now for everyone to be scheduled at 4 pm, on a weekend, or cancelling every other appointment last minute.

Continued education is the cornerstone of this industry, and not enough farriers take the time to continue to learn. Attending conventions, seminars, and clinics is the difference in improving care for clients horses, and settling into a rut of “good enough”. I’ve been given a last minute opportunity to attend the American Farrier Associations convention in Chattanooga Tn next week.

At convention I’ll be attending multiple lectures and clinics with some of the best clinicians in our industry. These will include not only hands on clinics to learn and improve upon my daily skills, but new products, and lectures ranging from diet and nutrition to anatomy and biomechanics of the hoof.

I apologize to anyone who experiences a delay in service or other inconveniences, again this was a last minute opportunity for me to attend and continue my education to better serve my clients and their animals! Thank you all for your patience and understanding!

We owe an apology to some clients! Last week i got viral pneumonia and had to made some cancellations, I’ve since noticed i didn’t contact everyone that was scheduled and I’m working on getting those individuals messaged and rescheduled! Again i apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate every client that tolerates me!!!!
