I finally have a baby Chahouha!! Its hatch mate developed but did not make it and I was super concerned this one wouldn’t make it either. I had been candling the egg for like a week and didn’t see any movement, then one finally day I spotted movement and then it hatched the day before I left for vacation! Of course. My mom is house sitting for me, and so far so good. She has been a great gecko grandma and I will be home in two days to take over. This is my very first fertile chewy egg that they’ve given me since I’ve taken over. I’m so excited about this little gecko 🥰

Hey friends, this is Jeff's wife, Christina coming on. It is with a very sad and heavy heart to share that Jeff lost his battle with COVID on 2/7/22 after fighting in the CCU for 60 days. Jeff's passion for his geckos was so great. He loved everything about them and he eventually became known as "the gecko guy" to everyone in our circle. He was always so fascinated by them and was so excited to let little Jenson grow up around them.
I will be continuing on his legacy. I'm so thankful that I listened to him rant and rave about them, and watched him care for them the way he would.
I may need some guidance and assistance along the way, but I'd love more than anything to keep his passion alive for our son.
