Hi everyone 🤍
My name is Alexis Aurora. I’ve been working with animals for over 15 years, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned—it’s that this work is so much deeper than grooming.
Growing up, I genuinely thought I was going to be the next Steve Irwin 🐊 (and honestly… that energy never left me). I’ve always felt a deep respect for animals, their behavior, and the bond we share with them.
Over the years, these are a few truths I’ve come to stand by:
✨ No two pets are the same
Every animal deserves an approach tailored to them—their personality, their history, their comfort level.
✨ Change is inevitable
Life changes, aging, mobility shifts… our pets feel these transitions just like we do, sometimes even more deeply.
✨ Overwhelm is real
Busy, noisy environments can turn small stressors into big reactions. A sensitive pet isn’t “bad”—they’re communicating.
✨ Sometimes less is more
When a pet is struggling, slowing down, adjusting the approach, and reducing stress can make all the difference. (And when needed, working alongside vets is always part of that plan.)
✨ It takes a team
You, your groomer, and your vet all play a role. Open communication creates the safest and most supportive experience for your pet.

At my shops, we focus on creating a calm, individualized experience for every animal that walks through the door.
But I also offer specialty grooming for sensitive, anxious, or behaviorally complex pets—the ones who may not thrive in a traditional setting.
The video attached is a small glimpse into what that looks like—meeting a pet where they are, building trust, and making something like a nail trim feel safe (even if that means being held like a baby 💕).
If your pet has ever struggled with grooming, you’re not alone—and there are better ways to support them.
Feel free to reach out with questions or to see if we’re the right fit 🤍
