One of the questions I get asked most is, “What happens during a pet Reiki session?”

Every session is unique because every animal is unique.

I blend several of the modalities I’ve spent years developing into one personalized experience. Sessions may include:

🌿 Reiki energy healing to encourage relaxation and balance.

🎶 Sound healing using a combination of Native American flute and crystal singing bowls to create a peaceful, calming environment.

🐾 Animal communication, when the animal chooses to participate. Communication is always at their discretion—I never force or expect a conversation. Sometimes they share memories, emotions, or messages. Other times they simply enjoy the quiet healing space.

Many animals become deeply relaxed during their session. Some fall asleep. Others release tension, become playful, or simply enjoy being seen and supported exactly as they are.

My goal is never to “fix” your pet, but to offer them a safe, compassionate space where healing can unfold in whatever way serves them best.

I just had to share. Reminds me of this time years ago a women was very unhappy with her groom. I explained the matting again and techniques for removal and she exasperatedly proclaimed “My dogs are always matted!”

I said “That’s not a good thing!”

Please don’t hesitate to speak with your groomer for your pets personalized coat care recommendations.
