Hello friends! I would like to take a minute to share some good news! My beloved little building has now become the new and second location of Spirit Animals Grooming! In loving memory of my Dad.. Bob. I would be nothing if it weren’t for your support, encouragement, and love. You were my Mr. Fix it and my backbone during the hardest times at the shop. I could never repay you and I am forever beyond grateful.
I often say I got your “ working genes”, because God knows Moms cooking genetics didn’t make the cut with me.
I hope I made you proud by doing the best I could. But again, I owe it all to you. Thank you for being the best Father in the world.
Rest easy, Dad.. your work here is done and Mom missed you, too. Love you always, Dad♥️

I had to.. I’m a Bugs Bunny fan! I don’t even know where to begin. 23 years! I had an idea when I drove by a cute little building. With the support of my family, my dream came to life. And it grew. And it carried me well. And I met so many fabulous people and their much loved dogs. I’ve had customers turn into great friends, and many have treated me like family. I will be forever greatful!
I had some very talented groomers and wish that I could have been the job they wanted forever. But I thank them and hope they continue a successful career, where ever they may be.
I will always love animals. I will always support the homeless pets and ones in need. I will always stand up for the voiceless. I wouldn’t be happy if I didn’t have them in my life.
It hasn’t quite clicked in just yet. My little “home away from home”. It was truly an extension of me. I know many of you enjoyed coming there and felt comfortable. Exactly how I hoped it would be. I’m not 100% sure what is going to be the next step when it comes to the shop.. but I want it to be in good hands that will enjoy it as much as I have.
As far as my next career, I am testing the waters and have my foot in the door at a soon to open vet location. I am also open to what the universe throws at me- I’m ready for change!
THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. I would have never come this far without the support, trust, and love from so many people. I don’t like to say goodbye and I won’t. I’ll say Ciao for now, and I hope our paths cross again some day! Hugs to my best pups- I had the cream of the crop! 🐾♥️🐾♥️🐾♥️🐾

Last year, I volunteered to foster a very young mother cat and her 5 kittens. The head of K’s Kitten Rescue in Brick was Louise Wootton. When I became involved and saw how much time, effort, care, and expenses it takes to keep a rescue functioning- and watched Louise hold it all together- it was a real eye opener, to say the very least.
Sadly, Louise unexpectedly passed away just days ago. She leaves behind many cats and kittens in foster care still waiting for adoption. They still require food, supplies, medical care, etc.
This Sunday at the Toms River Elks there will be a table to help support K’s Kitten Rescue- baked goods! Please consider stopping by the Elks to purchase a sweet treat.
At this time, they are desperately seeking temporary fosters, adopters, and homes for barn cats! Even taking ONE into foster care will help tremendously- please consider helping the rescue with moving forward with the care and support for these animals in need. Thank you.

If you know me, you know I have a love for pets of all kinds! I am always happy to help support the rescues and homeless pets in need. But today I am asking for help for someone I have just met. I am asking for cat food donations to help this person help homeless cats. I am volunteering my time and also purchasing food to help them, as well. I do not want to share too much information, as this (sadly) can lead to harassment and harm to the care giver and these poor cats. But I can assure you- it’s not just stray cats that need the help in this situation. My heart goes out. Would you kindly consider a few cans or a bag of Friskies cat foods? It can be dropped off at the shop or I will gladly pick up from you! I thank you so very much- 🐾♥️🐾
