Happy belated birthday 🎉 to Cecil! While we wish he wasn’t celebrating his b-day at the SPCA, his favorite person made it as special as possible for our sweet 5-year-old boy ❤️
Here’s our birthday interview with the high-five king:
Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself!
A: Well, my name is Cecil. I’m a super handsome gentleman with lots of me to love and snuggle. I’m a staff and volunteer favorite, probably because of my chill, gentle nature!
Q: What would constitute a perfect day for you?
A: I’d love to start my morning off with some snuggles. Then, of course breakfast! I’m house trained, so I’d love to go for a nice post-meal stroll - we can walk slow and easy, or I’m also down for a game of fetch or some slight zoomies. Then, I’ll probably take a nap. Once it’s dinnertime, I’ll be recharged and ready to eat - and then let’s finish the night off with a movie and cuddles!
Q:What else do you enjoy doing?
A: Oh, well I love car rides. I also love showing off my tricks, and would love to learn some more. I have a big brain and am super loyal!
Q: What would be your ideal forever home?
A: I’d love a nice, quiet and calm home with adults- somewhere I can feel safe, loved, and comfy in! I love to be the center of attention - since I’m so cute and lovable.
Q: Anything else you’d like to share?
A: I’ve been waiting a while for my forever family - I really hope you’ll give me a chance! I’m a super easygoing guy who just needs a quiet place to call home. I’m house trained, and walk so well on a leash you barely have to hold on! Oh, and people say I’m a really good boy at the vet! Stop by and meet me today - you won’t be disappointed.
