New Business Brochures on the way with my updated pricing starting JANUARY 1st!

To continue offering unrushed, fear-free pawticures and veterinary nursing care (plus rising costs for medical supplies, fuel, and travel time), I’ll be updating prices on January 1, 2026.

New pricing
• $50 — First service at a visit (e.g., nail trim, ear clean, gland expression)
• $35 — Each additional service at the same visit

This small adjustment helps me maintain longer appointment windows, high-quality products, and the gentle handling your pets know me for. Thank you for trusting me with your sweet companions and for supporting a woman-owned, local business. 🫶

Booking is limited—DM to snag a spot or join the waitlist.

🐾 Cat Nail Trims Matter Too! 🐾
Regular nail trims help prevent painful snags, overgrowth, and damage to furniture (and skin 😅). Keeping your cat’s nails short also makes grooming and playtime safer and more comfortable.

💗 Gentle, fear-free nail trims for cats—done right in your home!

🐾 Why Regular Nail Trims Matter for Your Pet’s Health

Keeping your dog’s or cat’s nails properly trimmed isn’t just for looks or comfort — it’s a vital part of their overall health and wellbeing.

🦴 1. Prevents Pain and Posture Problems
When nails grow too long, they push against the ground, forcing the toes and joints into unnatural positions. This can cause:
• Painful pressure on the paw pads
• Altered gait and posture
• Long-term joint stress, arthritis, or even spinal alignment issues

💥 2. Reduces Risk of Injury
Overgrown nails are more likely to:
• Split, crack, or tear (which can bleed and get infected)
• Get caught in carpet, blankets, or furniture
• Cause discomfort when walking or scratching

Cats with long nails may snag them in fabric or scratching posts, sometimes pulling them out painfully.

💉 3. Protects Skin and Family Members
Sharp nails can accidentally scratch owners, children, or other pets during play or handling. Keeping nails short helps prevent accidental injuries — especially for elderly owners or those with thin skin.

🩺 4. Prevents Infections and Ingrown Nails
For both dogs and cats, overgrown nails can curl into the paw pads, leading to painful wounds or infections. Regular trimming helps keep nails at a safe, healthy length and prevents embedded claws.

🐕‍🦺 5. Improves Mobility and Comfort
Long nails can make walking uncomfortable, especially on hard floors, and may even lead to slipping or hesitancy to walk. Trimming restores proper paw contact with the ground, improving stability and mobility.

🐈 6. Supports Senior and Indoor Pets
Senior dogs and indoor cats are especially prone to overgrown nails since they don’t naturally wear them down on rough outdoor surfaces. Routine trims help prevent joint pain and keep them comfortable in their golden years.
