I’m going to miss this little buddy when he leaves.
Green cheeks will always have a soft spot on my heart. They are so sweet and love to be with their humans.
Also Wild type are so underrated look at that beautiful green.

❤️ Why Our Birds Aren’t “Cheap”

I know our birds may not be the cheapest you’ll find—and that’s okay. ❤️

When you bring home one of our babies, you’re not just paying for a bird. You’re supporting the weeks of love, time, care, and dedication that went into raising that baby.

Raising babies is truly a full-time job. There are multiple hand-feedings every day, cleaning and sanitizing, preparing fresh food, monitoring their health and development, weighing them, socializing them, and eventually teaching them important skills like step-up and recall.

There are early mornings, late nights, and a whole lot of messy formula. 😂 But there are also countless hours spent simply handling, loving, and building trust with each baby so they can leave here confident and ready to become part of a family.

Then there are the things people don’t always see—the quality food, brooders and equipment, cages, toys, enrichment, health testing, DNA sexing, veterinary care, and the ongoing care of our breeding birds.

Could you probably find a cheaper bird somewhere? Absolutely.

But my goal at Dino-Soar Aviary has never been to produce the cheapest babies possible. My goal is to raise healthy, well-socialized, loved babies that have been given the best start I can possibly give them.

Every baby that leaves here has had a little piece of my heart poured into them. 🦜❤️

And that’s something I will never cut corners on.

Each one is developing their own beautiful coloring and personality, and we’re loving the variety in this clutch. From soft seafoam and pied tones to that gorgeous deep blue, they make quite the trio! 🦜✨
