Dear CFC Family,

On October 4, 2026, Crazy for Critters will be celebrating 5 incredible years of serving our community!

Because of this special milestone, Crazy for Critters will be closed from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM so our team can celebrate together. Please keep this in mind when planning any pet care needs for that evening.

We would also love to celebrate with the people who have helped make these last five years possible—you!

If you’d like to join us, we’ll be meeting at Juanitos at 6:00 PM. We have reserved the bar side of the restaurant for our CFC team and any clients who would like to have dinner with us.

Please RSVP by September 14, 2026, which is exactly three weeks before the celebration. RSVP by texting 678-570-5023-Let me know how many people will be attending with you. This will help me make sure I bring enough cupcakes and will also help Juanitos prepare for our group.

While we would truly love to treat everyone to dinner, as a small business it’s simply not something we’re able to do. Guests who choose to join us will be responsible for purchasing their own meals and drinks.

The past five years have been an incredible journey, and none of it would have been possible without your trust, support, and the privilege of caring for your beloved pets. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to do what we love every single day.

Let’s give a warm welcome to Claudia. Our newest part time pet sitter. Claudia is a dog mom of 4 and lives here locally in Bremen. We will continue training over the next few days.

Hi, I’m Claudia! I'm originally from New Jersey and recently moved to Georgia to start a new chapter with my fiancé. I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up in a house with seven dogs and five cats, so it's safe to say my family has always been full of animal lovers.

I'm a proud dog mom to four Australian Shepherds who keep life exciting and busy. When I'm not spending time with my dogs, you'll usually find me hiking, camping, listening to music, or enjoying the outdoors.

I'm happiest when I'm around animals and love getting to know each pet's unique personality. I'm excited to meet new people and their furry family members in the community.

With dangerously high temperatures and heat index values expected to reach 105–110°F, the health and safety of both your pets and our sitters remain our top priority. ❤️🐾

🐶 Tuesday through Saturday, all dog walks between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM may be modified based on the current temperature and heat index.

To help prevent heat-related illnesses, visits during these peak heat hours will include:
🐾 A potty break outside
🏡 Indoor playtime, enrichment, fresh water, and plenty of love after your pup has finished going potty
🐾 A final trip outside before we leave for one last opportunity to potty

Our goal is to keep your pets safe while still ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and care they deserve—without risking burned paw pads, overheating, or heat exhaustion.

💧 Please help keep your pets safe by:
• Providing plenty of fresh, cool water
• Keeping them indoors during the hottest part of the day whenever possible
• Limiting strenuous outdoor activity
• Watching for signs of overheating, including excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, weakness, or bright red gums

📚 End of School Year Week
The week of May 22nd we will have limited availability due to end-of-school-year ceremonies for our team families.

☀️ Summer Limited Availability Dates
Please note the following important scheduling updates:

* June 13 – June 20: Down one sitter (limited availability)
* June 21 – July 5: Limited availability
* June 22 – June 28: Down one sitter (limited availability)
* July 2 – July 12: Down one sitter (limited availability)

🚨 Holiday / Peak Time Note

* July 3 – July 5: Fully booked for 7–9 AM arrival window
* Overnights fully booked: July 1 – July 14 & July 20 – August 5

📌 Holiday / School Break Policy Reminder
During the holiday and school break period of May 22 – August 8, all cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 15 days in advance. Any services booked within this timeframe will be charged to the card on file 14 days prior to the scheduled service date.

This policy and all service terms are outlined in your contract under “Time to Pet” documents in your client portal under Documents.

💛 We truly appreciate each of you and your continued trust in us. Summer is one of our busiest seasons, so we strongly encourage booking early so we can best accommodate everyone.

Our hearts are heavy as we heard the passing of sweet Buddy 🐾💔

Buddy was the best “ol man” pup in all the ways that matter most. We had the absolute privilege of loving and caring for him over the last 2.5 years, and he truly left a paw print on our hearts. We are so glad we got to share Spring Break with you, Buddy—it’s a memory we will always hold close.

One of the hardest parts of what we do is saying “see you later” to our clients’ pets. They may not be ours, but when we see them so often, love them, and care for them, they become family in their own special way.

CFC is so heartbroken over the loss of such a gentle, sweet soul.

Run free now, Buddy… go chase all the balls your heart desires and thank you for trusting us and allowing us to love you.
