The Stephens County Humane Society Resale Shop will be closed, Saturday, August 30th so our volunteer staff can enjoy time off to recharge.

Due to overwhelming community requests to the Stephens County Humane Society on behalf of the puppies that were to be euthanized, we have made arrangements for them to be transfered to a speciality foster where they will be rehabilitated.
We could not step forward like this without the support of the community.

We pulled these two little cuties today and got them out of the shelter and into another rescue to find their forever home! Thank you Second Chance Farm Granbury for taking these sweet babies!!

Meet Obee! His Mom is elderly and can no longer take care of him. He is 1 year old, up to date on shots and heartworm prevention. He is good with other dogs, cats, kids and is crate trained, sounds like the perfect dog!!! If you would like to welcome Obee into your family please let us know!
