Fun Fact Friday: Lhasa Apsos Dog Breed.
Did you know this small, ancient dog breed originated in Tibet around 800 BCE!! Believe it or not they were bred as watchdogs and companions for Tibetan monks and were given as gifts that were highly prized. 🐾🙏🏻🏔️ There name translates to “Bearded Lion Dog” 🐶🦁🐾They also lived 13,000 feet above sea level in the Himalayan’s! 🏔️ This is Daisy a Lhasa Apsos.

Today is International Dog Day where we celebrate the love and contribution dogs give to our daily lives. 🐶🐕🦮🐩🐕‍🦺🐾🦴 We want to highlight “RIO” today who we have been walking FIVE DAYS A WEEK FOR THE PAST 16 YEARS since his owner “Jeff” first brought him home. 🏡🐾We also want to give paws and applause to our great walker “Doreen” who has been Rio’s consistent walker for the past EIGHT years. 🐾👏🏻🦮🚶🏼‍♀️Here’s to you Rio and all the dogs out there that fill our hearts and life with joy!! 🐾 🫶🏻❤️

Arlo is here to remind you that our customer appreciation ice cream social is tomorrow at Carter Park from 2pm - 4pm! 🐾 🙌 🎉 We will be serving ice cream from local favorite HIGGLES! 🍨🍦🍧 There will also be an area to have your pets photo taken both by Polaroid and digital 🎞️ 📸 We hope for sunshine, happy doggos and to see you there! ☀️ 🐾 🍦THANK YOU!!!

Hiking with Oli and Charlie up to the historic Sallie Barber Mine! The only gold up here was Oli and Charlie and we did enjoy the hike, views and rich history that we could explore. 🐾🦮⛰️🥾⛏️🏞️🦮🐾

Let’s all give paws and applause to our dog walker and pet sitter for the past TEN YEARS, Izzy! 👏🐶😺 She is moving on from DNBF and we want to give her a huge THANK YOU for all love and care she has given to your fur families over the past decade! 🐾 🏡 🦮Thank you Izzy and we wish you all the best with your future endeavors! Oh and that’s her fur friend Hoji up on her lap. 🐾

Petey loves his walks to downtown and around the shops! 🐶🐾🦮 The nice folks at Mountain Top Cookie Shop welcomed us in and though Petey can’t have any cookies he still enjoyed being in there 🍪 🐾 😋 They are pet friendly and very nice!

Happy 2nd birthday to our dog friend, Appa! 🥳 To celebrate, his owners scheduled a group dog hike for him since they said that’s one of his favorite things to do! 💛 He sure had fun playing on the Gold Run Trail with a few of his furry friends! Thanks for including us in his birthday celebrations!🥰
