💛Want to know what a 24 hour dose of SYR semen looks like? Breed standard is 500 million progressively motile s***m at time of artificial insemination.
💛We sent out 6 doses yesterday and at 24 Hour check today those doses are each 1,944 million progressively motile! I do typically dilute to 50 million per ml, but made 7 doses out of this collection and since I know his swimmers are so good and have a very low amount of die off, I didn’t worry about using another bottle of extender to dilute further!
💛If you have a mare that has been hard to settle, he may be your solution!
For those that don’t know the math behind it,
72 million s***m per ml X 45 ml dose = 3,240 total s***m in dose X 60% which brings us to 1,944 progressively motile at 24 hour. That is also only after 5 mins of warming, it typically will get even higher in the mare with 84% being motile.
💛Basically 4X what the standard dose is and his semen typically remains breedable up to 72-80 hours! -Non centrifuged- and in Botu Gold! Video in comments because it won’t allow in post!
