In April of 2023, I was appointed the Moderator for Brandywine Maryland when the previous Moderator Joyce moved out of the area to another County. As the Administrators for Brandywine Maryland, I have lived in Brandywine, MD since 2006, which is not a long time, I realize after talking to some of my neighbors, whose families have lived in the Baden area for generations. I retired from law enforcement after serving 27 years in Washington D.C., then worked at Robins Hill Farm and Vineyards for a couple of seasons because I got a little bored and it is close by my home, although I rarely drink. Susan and Bob are the owners of Robin Hill Farm and Vineyard and are great neighbors and have a wonderful Winery & Vineyard Business. Speaking about Wineries and Vineyards, Brandywine Maryland is knowns for its two other Wineries, Janemark Winery & Vineyard, Gemeny Winery and Vineyards also Romano Vineyard & Winery which is permanently closed and currently listed for sale. In 2024 a new vineyard opened in Aquasco, MD. Trueman Vineyard. Two Lions Vineyards is located in Upper Marlboro, MD and been open for a couple of years. Two Lions Vineyards and Robin Hill Farm and Vineyards, does private events and weddings also Ten Point Acres, does private events and weddings with overnight accommodations. Hennessy Creek also does private events, weddings, overnight accommodations with a bed and breakfast. Brandywine, MD is in Maryland's Legislative District 27 is one of 47 districts in the state for the Maryland General Assembly. It covers parts of Calvert County, Charles County and Prince George's County. The district is divided into three sub-districts for the Maryland House of Delegates: District 27A, District 27B and District 27C.[1]
