Matt Damon just went on a date — and Betsy the pit bull was his plus one.

The actor visited Eastwood Ranch Foundation in Agoura Hills, California, spending the afternoon with several adoptable dogs as part of Dream Date series.

Among them was Betsy, a people-loving, toy-obsessed pit bull who has been waiting over 18 months for a family to take her home.

Eastwood Ranch, founded by Alison Eastwood, specializes in rescuing dogs and cats from high-kill shelters.

Betsy is described as sweet, loyal, and gentle with children, still waiting for the right person to choose her.

Damon's visit coincided with California Adopt-A-Pet Day, as the foundation hosted a free community adoption event to help address the state's pet overpopulation crisis.
